Best Low Sugar Vegan Protein Powder on the market!
This is, by far, the best vegan protein powder I have come across, and I have tried almost all of them. It has a silky smooth texture and blends very well in anything, even cold liquids! I start with a few ounces of room-temp water, shake it up, then add 6-8 ounces of coconut milk and it's like a creamy treat. Unlike many vegan protein powders, it has just the right amount of sweetness. It is not gritty and it doesn't leave a bad stevia-aftertaste in your mouth. I was a little worried at first about coconut sugar being in the top 5 ingredients, but I think the fact that it has inulin, acacia fiber, and 7 fruits and vegetables, the fiber content balances it out, resulting in only 2g sugar, 2g fiber for the total net carbs at only 7g. It is hard for most companies to get this balance right, and KOS does it better than any of the others! I was also very impressed at the level of vitamins and minerals it had. Most companies focus on protein content only, or taste, and leave out the micronutrients that are vital to muscle recovery. It has an impressive 40% DV of B12, 20% DV of Iodine, 20% DV of Zinc, 40% DV of Riboflavin/Iron, 34% DV of Selenium, and 100% DV of Copper. As an added bonus, it has 30 mcg or 70% DV of Molybdenum, which is a powerhouse for gut health and liver healing. I drink this after workouts, but even if I didn't exercise as much, I would recommend it for anyone as a good source of macro AND micro nutrients! And finally, as far as protein content, I really like the fact that it has 20 grams and that it comes from a blend of pea, flax, quinoa, pumpkin and chia seed proteins, combined with the digestive enzymes to help the body break it all down. You get the diverse benefits of all the different plant sources all in one drink, and I'm sure those diverse sources are what provide such a wide range of micronutrients that the other protein drinks can't hold a candle to. This wins in all categories- blendability, taste, protein content and sources, micro-nutrient content, low-sugar content, as well as being surprisingly powerful for the maintenance of gut health.

Quick and Handy Nurishment ✨
Great Chocolate Taste. I make Smoothies and add frozen Bananas and ice for a Quick Protein Fix. I've used Milk, but even Water works well with this Rich Thick Treat. I do use Monk fruit Sweetener, cause that's the way I like it. Good Value for the Money on this KOS Vegan Protein Powder.

I absolutely L🤎VE this.u
I bought this to help with my new exercise program. I've found it to be a perfect meal replacement for me. The chocolate is VERY good. But it is the proper filling meal for me, so I'm not tempted to over indulge. On busy days, this is 2 meals for me, and I don't have to worry because of the nourishing ingredients.

Our Go-To Protein Powder
We’ve been drinking this for years and always come back to it. The chocolate flavor is our favorite and blends really well. We usually mix it with frozen banana and cherries and it turns into a really smooth, tasty shake. Great texture, not chalky, and easy to drink as a quick meal or snack.

a none vegans perspective.
i am not a vegan. im not a vegetarian of any kind. i am an avid meat eater. the reason for me buying this was because regular whey protein powder mixed with whole milk, which is what i usually have, is starting to get kind of hard on my stomach. its a lot of dairy in one sitting and it gives me gas and loose stool. figured ill give a plant based protein and almond milk a shot just to try to be healthier and do something different. the micro nutrient content is really what impressed me this thing is basically a protein shake and a multivitamin mixed into one. blending power: ok so this is where the biggest gripe comes from. it does not mix well with almond milk or water. ironically the best thing to blend it with so far for me has been regular milk. i dont know if this is just a characteristic of vegan proteins but it is incredibly grainy. much more so than any whey protein ive ever had. a very chalky mix does not a very good drinking experience make. having said that its not like its intolerable or anything just not super pleasant especially since im used to a smoother drink. flavor: this is the part that actually made the chalkiness of the drink more tolerable. its very good chocolate flavor. its not overly sweet and overpowering. they did a really good job with the flavor especially considering how low the sugar content is. probably that stevia. definitely one of the better protein shakes ive had as far as flavor is concerned. however, the graininess of its definitely brings it down some. value: at 43 dollars for 30 servings of 20g this is a pretty expensive protein. the micro nutrient content is relatively impressive but its not worth the extra price. especially when it mixes so poorly. to put things into perspective the 5 pound tub of optimum nutrition whey protein, which has 74 servings of 24g of protein, costs only about 7 dollars more for more than twice the product. the 2 pound tub which comes wit 28 servings is 13 dollars less. and with those 13 dollars you can buy a multivitamin that will exceed the nutritional content of the KOS protein. so all in all its a decent protein. its healthy and contains a good amount of nutrients. but its way more expensive than its competition and mixes very poorly for what it charges. if youre not vegan or have a dairy intolerance i cant recommend this protein over your standard namebrand whey isolate.
