Nearly Natural 4ft Faux Cedar Tree in Nursery Planter, UV Resistant Artificial Pine Tree for Outdoor Front Porch Patio Entryway Decor

Looks real. I’ve purchased a lot of faux plants and back in the day, they were not authentic in appearance but finally the technology has improved and these are nice!

Actually looks great! Up close you can see the trunk is faux(wrapped in a green fabric) but looks good!

Although the tree is a little bit sparse, it is seemingly of good quality. And after decorated I think the sparseness isn't obvious (see pic). The branches seem strong and has a very nicely weighted base. It came in two pieces and assembled easily, well packaged and arrived quickly. Overall a good value.

I am never a fan of fake anything; however, after many years of trying to keep anything alive in my favorite porch pot, I decided to look into an inexpensive and somehow realistic-looking fake tree. This one fit the bill. Up close, yes, it looks fake, but from a distance, and especially with the solar lights that I added, it makes me happy. The solar lights stay on all night, and it sort of reminds me of the old advertising for Motel 6--we'll keep a light on for you.

I purchased this after spending so much money on potted plants outside my front door. This area only has room for one pot. Also this area gets super hot with the morning sun. I have to use an oven mit or whatever to even turn the knob on my front door. Seriously! So when I saw this tree on Amazon it looked to be my problem solver. It looks real unless you get close to it. Fooled my neighbors. They all commented how real it looks. It has a good heavy base but I felt better placing it in a pot and put rocks in and around it to secure it. It was so easy to assemble just 2 pieces. I did put glue in the pole to the top piece. Didn’t really need it but I wanted to be sure it would stay in place. Didn’t need to fluff the branches much. Good product. Plan to buy more in the future.

I bought a pair of these trees in 2021 and they were very nice, you can see one in the background of this picture. I can't tell you how many people thought they were real. They survived summer heat and winter snow with no problems. One of them finally broke in a bad wind storm, and I was happy to replace it with the same tree. It is not the same tree anymore. The plastic is flat and shiny, tips were already falling off. There are fewer branches now and they are duct taped onto a pole that you can't hide, and the two halves don't stay together. You can see how sparse it is in the picture: I pulled the branches up and down, trying to hide the pole and it's really just trash. Now I need to find something else for that spot because this is just not worth it.

I was initially very disappointed in the look of these trees. They’re plastic. There’s no natural look when you take them out of the box. I mean to tell you, they look like the old style artificial flowers. But from a distance, they look OK and will do for now. I’m anxious to see how they’ll look after a year.

like the photo very slim, I used out side for a few years, color still holding up in very harsh conditions, only wish it was a little wider, comes packet in tight box and has to be opened a bit, but wish it was wider, pot is heavy enough , would buy again, would not use indoor if looking for a " high end " look.

I put these cedar trees, pot and all, into much larger pots, filling around the base with mulch. They sit outside all summer in front of brick porch pillars and look perfectly real. I leave them outside (2 winters now) but sheltered up on the verandah. These has been no colour turning on the branches due to sunlight, perhaps because they are on the north side of my house. I love gardening, but sometimes the best gardening advice is to fake it until you make it.
