HIPPEAS Chickpea Puffs: Salt & Vinegar Vibes. These crisps are a great snack! They are made with minimal ingredients and are great for many dietary requirements, including vegan and gluten free. They have no artificial ingredients which is also great. The crisps taste nice and are full of flavour. They don’t taste like usual ‘healthy’ crisps since they have a strong flavour and the portion size is great. I definitely recommend them even if you aren’t looking for a low calorie snack option. Nice novel product, I can totally get addicted to it, with a beer and in front of the telly. They are made with chickpeas and are supposed to be healthier than crisps. I thought so too and munched them. Quite puffy, it is like eating air. Until I read the salt content. It is not good. Far too high unfortunately. I will not buy this again. Unless, of course, I can not help it.

I'm reviewing the HIPPEAS Chickpea Puffs: Salt & Vinegar Vibes (Pack of 24 Bags, 22 g Each) | Vegan and Plant-Based, Source of Protein, Gluten-Free Snacks - Here are my thoughts : My whole family loved these. My son and I are particularly happy that these are plant-based, vegan, and absolutely tasty!

These snacks are made with chickpeas. The look like the more traditional potato version but they are slightly harder and crunchier. They have great salt and vinegar taste and are a great alternative to the potato snacks. The price is decent and they are well packaged.

There were mixed reactions at work but on the whole we like them. They look a little like wotsits but a little bit bigger and firmer and they’re not bright orange, they’re chickpea coloured! A nice crunch and then a slightly under-whelming salt n vinegar flavour. That’s the main critique- that the flavour isn’t quite strong enough. If you like s&v in the first place (not everyone does) then you obviously like the punch the acidity the sharpness, and the flavour in these is muted. Perfectly nice, but muted. I like the fact though that they are healthier than regular crisps and are great for an afternoon snack at work without the guilt and the box certainly seems to be emptying faster than I was expecting!!

The flavour of these chickpea puffs is ok, but some may find it a little bland. I would have liked them to be a little bigger on the salt and vinegar. Well packaged and balanced snack for those looking to eat less fatty snacks with a good amount of protein and low in calories.
