I use a lip pencil color that matches my natural lip color since this lipstick color is darker than my natural color, (Lip pencils are really to stop any bleed of the lipstick, they aren't meant to be an outline or accent color, but I use lighter lip pencil with lighter colors) - My tip as a former model.
