I absolutely love this Souper Cubes set! The different portion sizes (2 tbsp, ½ cup, 1 cup, 2 cups) make it super easy to freeze individual servings of soup, sauces, broth, and more. Love it for my meal prep and meal storage. Depending on the tyoe of food you place in it sometimes it retains the smell, for example garlic or other strong food smell. But other than that downside it ia really convenient everytime i want to store my leftovers or prep meals.

Theses Souper Cubes are a game changer/life changing in relation to kitchen work. These come in different sizes or in a complete set of different sizes 2T, half cup, 1 cup, 2 cup sizes. Great to make bulk cooking and freeze stews, cooked lentils, pulses beans, soups for mug sizes etc, freeze fresh shop bought herbs or homegrown herbs in the 2T spoon size trays in a little olive oil etc. By cooking in bulk even for one, two or larger families it saves energy on ovens, stove tops and freezer energy, as the mote full a freezer is the less energy it uses. Also, bulk cooking saves on cleaning and human energy! And good healthy homemade food is ready to to defrost, if you are not feeling up to cooking just reheating thereby saving on a possible takeaway. These are a little expensive but I have them for nearly a year and they are perfect. They have a sturdy wire rim to prevent spillage when moving them into the freezer. Quality is excellent. I would recommend to a friend. These are a win in my opinion.

Ich habe diese Formen auf Tiktok gesehen und fand die Idee super, sich einzelne Portionen ein zu frieren. Das funktioniert auch sehr gut. Ich hab es zuerst mit Reis und Putencurry ausprobiert. Die 1cup Formen mit Reis befüllt und die Soße in die 1/2 Cup Formen. Ca. 24h nach dem einfrieren kann man die Sachen aus den Formen drücken und in Gefrierbeutel umfüllen. Die Portionsgröße hat perfekt gepasst und ich hatte 3 Tage später ein schnelles Essen aus der Mikrowelle, was dennoch selbstgekocht war. Mittlerweile hab ich noch mehr soßen und auch Nudeln auf Vorrat, sowie Gemüse. Auch Lasagne kann man vorbereiten und einfrieren. Es ist echt schön nun immer etwas für mich da zu haben. Meine Kinder bekommen essen in Schule und Kita, mein Mann geht an der Arbeit in die Mensa. Nur für mich Kochen war mir oft zu lästig. Nun koche ich große Portionen und freue mich immer was zu essen da zu haben.
