I absolutely adore this dress. First off, I didn't think the 36Ds would have enough fabric, but they did. It's not the most flattering dress for me, it hits a bit above my waist which annoys me. 5'9" and it was long enough to tuck up in to my belt for a little breeze. It's so light and flowy and magical, I just love it and how I feel in it. I also have a wide low-back scar, and the ties adjusted enough so it wouldn't dip super low and show. It'd probably be cuter if it was let down just a bit in the back. Be aware that it's pretty see-through, because I was not, and spent an entire day at the Medieval Faire basically with my high beams out in the right light, but.... 🤷‍♀️ Worth it lol. Seems to be great quality and I was nice and cool in the 90* weather. My fiancé didn't notice it was a little sheer (indoor lighting before I left), but loves it and said it's a keeper lol. In the future I may pair it with a lace tube top or some nip covers, but.... It's not offensively obvious in black. If I got any lighter color, I'd absolutely have a decency issue. You can see the green of the trees through the skirt in a couple photos, so you'd see the pink of my ladies in a lighter shade for sure 😂😂. I thought about this one for like over a year before giving it a chance... If you have prime imo go for it. OH, and it smelled a little like black dye (vinegar - ish) at first, but aired out fine and I sprayed perfume.

Blindly bought this dress for an event and was a little hesitant about showing my back (had back surgery a year ago and I have a very long scar to show for it) and I haven't worn anything to reveal that because I have not found anything flattering, but this dress fulfilled my expectations. It flows nicely against my body and it’s not heavy either, the material feels lite and quality made. The other best part is I don’t have to wear a bra. Also, the black is not see through at all, because I did read that was an issue with some dresses. With that being said, I will be purchasing other colors soon.

I waited to purchase this for like six months. I read all of the reviews and all of them make excellent points. I'm going to be honest in this review and say that this garment can work on body type, but it really depends on what size you get. I'm 5'5" and b/t 120-125lbs. I ordered a size small because the reviews said that the back of the dress becomes problematic if you do not have wide hips, bootay and a small waist. If you want to look like the lady in the videos, get a size lower than your regular size so if you are a medium, get a small like I did. If you, like me, do not have a large rear end, the back of the dress may be problematic. I've handled this by wearing padded ass underwear and I don't care. It works. The only issues I have, aside from me not having a butt, are with how thin the front facing tube top roofing fabric is, and how thin the halter strap ties are. The half of a tube top and the back straps, along with the halter tie are holding up quite a lot of weight in the dress and its lining. You could have this made quite easily, but what I would do is figure out if you want to have the look of the lady in the picture, or if you are a larger woman, order a larger size and this will be more of a going out dress. Contending with the see-through top is up to you. I got it in beige or cream or whatever, it's definitely see-through. I would choose a darker fabric if that is going to be an issue for you. It is worth the risk if you are a big fan of Free People AND a fan of R. Vivimos BECAUSE they offer an FP dupe that is very similar to the quality of FP, very similar to the patterns used, very similar to what you would expect from an FP garment because they did it very good job, especially for this price point. The price point alone is worth the risk because if it doesn't work for you, you could always use it as a skirt or a beach cover. I have a stick figure with very large boobs, they're actually real, and no curves at all. The dress and the padded butt underwear I'm wearing are doing the work here. I recommend padded butt underwear for garments like this. I love it. I didn't give it 5 Stars because my nipples are impossible to hide so I can't wear it out in public. But my husband will appreciate it!

12/10 I AM OBSESSED. I have pink and black (so far!!) Am I here because I wanted the Free People dress I saw on instagram? Yes. It is flowy, heavy and stunning. You can adjust the straps above your bottom to be conservative or more sexy if you're at home. I feel like a beautiful witch when I wear it, strutting around. All the compliments and I've only worn it out once. I just got it in black too for the fall! It'll be perfect for full moon rituals. Anyway, GET IT. Just be mindful not to shrink it. Mine shrunk length wise in the dryer but that was an accident. However I got the pink dress, so it's better it not drag on the floor. I will be letting the black one drag the ground though. For reference, I am 41, 5'2" and weigh about 118. I cannot wait to wear it again and get the black one in the mail.

Overall, I really like this dress. It's a great dress for summer and comes in a variety of colors. I bought the medium size. I am 5'5" and 145 lbs. It fits great. Some considederations: The dress is probably not for you if you are larger on top. I once had D cup breasts and would never have been able to wear this. There is NO support and the neck ties are a little short. I saw a review that said the top is small. It's not. The dress just wasnt designed for women who are blessed with a nice bust line. Also, I did my makeup wearing this dress and the material is heavy when seated. I felt like it was pulling me off my chair. I became very aware of how wide my hips are in this dress as it gives you the illusion of being wider than you are. If this is something you are sensitive about, maybe skip this one. It also cant be worn with a bra (maybe nipple covers) and it will show every bump up top. I am okay with the outline of my nipples showing because everyone has them...but if you're a little more modest be aware that the material will not hide that. The pros: It fits beautifully. The dress is adjustable on top and around the hips so it fits you how you want it. The color is not entirely as pictured (I bought red and it looks like salmon) but it's very flattering either way. It is breathable linen like material that makes it great for summer and it moves beautifully. The cons: As you can see in the photo, you can see through the dress. Wear nude panties. The neck tie part is short so...not a lot of room for loosening it. I wish the bottom was longer...and I am short so for the tall ladies it will not look ad long as on the model. I saw some people say that they would order one in every color...I wouldn't call it a staple wardrobe piece but I think it's worth the money for one and I am very satisfied with the look and construction of the garment. It's not perfect, but its good. Update: one of the straps on the back broke the second time I wore it. Not made well but if you're handy with a needle and thread it's not an issue. I think if you have to see your own dress they're asking too much for it.

A dress so nice, I bought it thrice! For reference, I am 5’0” and 125 lbs with a shorter torso. Last year, I purchased Blush (Small) for a beach session. Out of the package, it was a few inches too long on me, but after reading reviews saying that this dress shrank a lot after washing, I washed it and dried it on regular heat, and it shrank exactly to my height (touching the ground). It’s the perfect flowy girly-girl dress; you will want to twirl in it all day! I also purchased Punch Red (Small) and Yellow (Large) for my trip to Vietnam. Why large? Because at the time, that was the only size available in the mustard yellow color that I so desperately wanted. Luckily, it was not too large at all! I was able to shrink it as well, and it worked out beautifully for my photo session. The red dress was a good length right out of the bag, so I did not need to shrink it prior to wearing it. Btw, I used CAKES body Nipple Covers for seamless coverage. 1000% recommend this dress!

I love this dress!! It is so incredibly flattering, lightweight and flowy! Drawbacks would be that it doesn’t have pockets and the washing/drying is a little more involved than just tossing in the washer and dryer, but it’s definitely worth the extra effort. It is a little see through, but the blue and aqua colors don’t seem to be too bad. For sizing reference, I’m 5’6” and 137lbs. with a mama pouch (which this dress hides well). I typically wear a small or medium dress depending on the style, but I liked the way this size Large fit. It’s a great summer dress, and I will definitely be getting other colors in the future!

After reading reviews I wasn’t sure what size would work best. This is a small. The length is great. It’s long enough to hit the tops of my feet, but without it hitting the floor or needing heels. The top isn’t crazy tight, but it pulls on the sides a bit, but not so tight that the back straps dig in. The skimpy halter tie is why I’m giving this a 4 star. It’s secure, but kinda digs in if tied where I want it to be. The back is low, but even untied my butt was covered. I was wearing darker gray underwear and you can definitely see it. A skin colored nude seamless thong would be invisible. I’m almost 47 with three kids so going braless isn’t my thing. I used some Nood lift nipple covers and they worked great without leaving weird spots. The material is thin and super lightweight. It was wrinkled coming out of the bag, but the material is textured so some wrinkles after steaming won’t be that noticeable. I’m going to order a medium in a different color to compare the fit. I’m 5’6”, 150lbs, and usually a solid regular size 6 in American Eagle if that helps. If you are heavy on top, I’d replace the halter ties. Overall, this dress is a great FP dupe on a budget.

Dress does not look like on the pictures. Poor quality, different size than ordered. We try to refund it and sent it back, but no money or response for almost 3 months. Absolutely don’t recommend to buy anything with this seller.

Love love love this dress. Ordered it for a photo shoot and it was perfect. The color was exactly like the picture. I ordered the maroon as well in size medium. Both fit well. I'm 5"2 and about 130lbs. The material for the top stretches so either size works for me. Would definitely recommend this dress.

I love this dress, the navy color is nice and looks classy. It fits really well, I bought a M and I'm usually a size 8-10. Can't wait to wear it on my trip!

This is an amazing copy of a free people dress. It’s a bit on the big side so order small. It’s gorgeous but I do have to have it hemmed to be able to wear it.
