worked great for me
Used one of these to replace a trunk lift holder on an older car recently purchased. It must have been ripped off by the wind . Very solid and with 3 hold down points it should hold on better than the factory one.

Worked great to replace a broken bracket on a 2002 Jeep Liberty
The original gas shock bracket had rusted and then it broke off. I was able to file down the portion that was left and then installed these brackets over the original bracket location.
