My computer at work has a "mandatory" time-out feature, which forces me to sign back in after a few minutes, when I have to work elsewhere. It's a royal PITA and it impacts my productivity. This tiny USB device looks just like another flash drive, but prevents the computer from timing out. It works perfectly, by moving the mouse pointer by just one almost undetectable pixel every minute. It's worth every penny, just in the amount of frustration it prevents. Although it fits a little tightly into the USB slot, it does eventually fit and works. It also doesn't interfere with anything else on the desktop or prevent the computer from operating correctly. Highly recommended...

So, group network security policy at my job prevents me from defeating the rather short timeout before my laptop locks out and the display goes to sleep. But I work in a technical field and I put my drawings on my laptop when I go into the field and build these systems. What a PiTA. Rather than fight my way uphill through all of the red tape and BS, I bought one of these and pretty much had it two days later. Plugged it in and didn't get any kinds of alerts or drive loading messages. Nothing obvious that I had put a jiggler in place. Let it sit all night and my laptop never locked out and never went to sleep. BOOM - victory is mine. Now, when I go on-site, it's tucked into my accessories pouch and when I need to work off of my laptop with the drawings pulled up, I pop it in and it keeps my laptop "awake." I don't lose a bunch of time constantly having to wake up my laptop and/or log back in. Saves me a ton of time and frustration... And when I have to go to the restroom or step away from the laptop, I just pop the jiggler out (which I really don't need to do, TBH) and I manually lock my laptop. I will ALWAYS have one of these in my laptop bag from now on!

This is a fairly small dongle, just a bit bigger than the Logitech Unifying dongle for my actual mouse. IT has my work computer set to lock after 5 minutes and I regularly need to go back and forth, forcing me to have to unlock every time I go back to my desk. This does require a dedicated USB port but it regularly moves the cursor an imperceivable amount, keeping my computer awake all day without interrupting my work. Once plugged in the PC recognizes the device within seconds and connects without any inputs. I highly recommend this product for anyone who needs to keep their PC from going to sleep without actually seeing cursor movements.

Works perfectly with zero issues! It's very simple and reliable, it doesn't need to be "installed" or anything like that, you just plug it in and you're golden! It's also undetectable and won't show up in your list of devices. I bought it because after only a few minutes of inactivity, my work PC doesn't just lock the screen, it goes to sleep, which is very frustrating. Because I have no admin rights, I can't change any of the screen power settings to prevent this. This thing has been a lifesaver, it'll even keep working when you lock your screen to prevent your PC from going to sleep. The price is also great! Do yourself a favor and get this one, you won't be disappointed.

So I had 50 laptops and 1 desktop for my pc refresh and I was 3/4 thru this refresh when I found this product. This device doesn't trigger any alerts to the infosec team. No alerts as thus is setup as a mouse. It keeps the screen away while being pushed updates from company portal. You slide in the usb and it never turns the screen off. It simple as that.

After 2.5 years this went kaput. Price went up $2 since then, but I'm repurchasing because this does exactly what you want it to.

I have ordered a different version of this item for twice the price. I couldn't tell if this one was working because it actually just looks like a regular dongle you would use for a keyboard, mouse or whatnot. Apparently it works. It's a little unsettling because there are no lights or anything telling you it works. You also can't see your mouse moving about, but considering the price I'm ok with it. I still do like the ones with the lights better and since these are so inexpensive to begin with I might just continue using my other one. But if you want a jiggler that works and is very inexpensive this is the one you want to get!

I was worried when I bought this about how it would work and how it would jiggle but this was actually perfect. My work from home computer has a screen saver for 5 minutes which is laughable. This solves the problem. Very simply it shows up as mouse and it continuously moves the mouse in micro-movements. Just enough to keep the screen active but not so much it makes it hard to click on objects. I can leave it plugged in all day and most times I don't remember it's there until I remember I haven't seen my screen saver. I'm super happy with it. Physically it's unassuming it's tucks into any USB-A port you have open and functionally it's no muss no fuss.
