So 5 Stars for the book! But, don't buy it from desertcart! The book arrived floating loosely in an desertcart Prime carton. Absolutely no packing in the box, just the book sliding back and forth in a larger box. Because of this the top corner of the book was crumpled (see photo). Still readable, but a real dissapointment for a book that is supposed to be a cherished collectable. If you want this book, buy it from your local bookseller where you can avoid poor quality packaging shipping damage, or buy it from a book seller who knows how to securely pack a book in a shipping box!

Fantastic Book (5 stars) - BUT, Shocking Amazon Prime no packing means book arrived damaged!
This is an awesome book that every Jimmy Page / Led Zeppelin fan should have in their collection. So 5 Stars for the book! But, don't buy it from Amazon! The book arrived floating loosely in an Amazon Prime carton. Absolutely no packing in the box, just the book sliding back and forth in a larger box. Because of this the top corner of the book was crumpled (see photo). Still readable, but a real dissapointment for a book that is supposed to be a cherished collectable. If you want this book, buy it from your local bookseller where you can avoid poor quality packaging shipping damage, or buy it from a book seller who knows how to securely pack a book in a shipping box!

Great book by rock's finest guitarist
As you can probably tell by my username, I am a huge lifelong Led Zeppelin fan. Jimmy Page - the man, the musician, the producer, the artist - has been a big influence on me as a musician myself; far and away the biggest influence. This book is absolutely incredible. From the beautiful photos (and background) of the guitars used on classic Yardbirds, Led Zeppelin and Page/Plant material as well as studio work he did before all that, to the stage clothes and notebook excerpts, this book is visual eye candy for the Page aficionado. You get a sense of how much meticulous planning went into both Jimmy's appearance and the sounds he wanted to get as a musician and producer in this book. He knew exactly what he wanted to achieve well before he ever achieved it. This book really gives you a sense of Jimmy's vision, and it leaves you even more convinced that he is a genius who created an unparalleled body of work, especially in Led Zeppelin. And one thing really stands out: this guy held onto everything. Everything! It's all here, in beautiful close-up detail. If you love Led Zeppelin - and Jimmy Page in particular - buy this book. It is a remarkable document of a legendary career that changed rock music in so many ways. Now how about an autobiography, Pagey? Hopefully someday....

Boek beschadigd bij ontvangst
Spijtig genoeg was het boek beschadigd aan de rechterbovenhoek van de kaft. Verpakking is duidelijk onvoldoende om te kunnen garanderen dat het gros van deze boeken onbeschadigd aankomt. Dit leid ik af uit de veelvuldige klachten rond beschadigde boeken. Voor een artikel met een dergelijke waarde moet absoluut geïnvesteerd worden in een betere en duurdere verpakking.
