Weleda Sensitive Care Cleansing Lotion

First I will address the tube complaint issue on alot of Weleda stuff. I love them personally. It grosses me out to stick my finger in a jar of something. All you need to get to use these tubes to their full extent is a toothpaste crimp tool from amazon. Simple simple simple. Plus I love the flat caps so you can stand them on end. About the product. Ive been using Sukin for the past year and a half. Works great and most of all Im not allergic. But Sukin USA has closed last dec and not reopened. And their cream cleanser is a bit heavy for summer, but their gel is way to drying. So since Weleda Salt tooth paste is the only toothpaste Im not allergic to I thought I would give their face care a try. Only down fall so far is quanty vs price compared to sukin. I get 4 times as much product for 1/2 the price BUT dosnt matter if you cant get it. The wash takes very little, cleans better, dosnt leave as much of a heavyness film like as the sukin. Its not drying at all, at 61 I dont need that. So far no allergic reaction. Major skin care ingrediant allergies. So I think I will continue to use. Now if only Weleda had a shampoo I wasnt allergic to. Sukin has 1 shampoo in their line that I can use without as much of an issue as other shampoos. I cant use anything made in the usa because of all the garbage chemicals they use that Im allergic to.

I've been struggling with my sensitive skin for years, so whenever I try something new I don't really expect it to work... I'm just too stubborn to give up trying. LOL So my positive experience with this product pretty much blew my socks off. I was skeptical about the whole "cleansing lotion" claim, as I've tried products that used similar advertising in the past with lukewarm (if not disastrous) effects on my skin. This stuff is pretty freaking amazing. My skin feels great, it looks great, and my blemishes seem to be healing far quicker than they have in the past, with no new acne issues surfacing. It doesn't seem to combat my nose blackheads (at least not yet, I'm going on week 2 with it) but with actual acne and my frustrating combination skin, it has indeed worked wonders. I will definitely be purchasing this instead of my usual skincare routine from this point forward.

I have been struggling with my acne-prone skin for years now. Still struggling at 25, I seeked out some extra help. I did lots of research and decided it was time to try out Tretinoin, as a desperate measure. Since I was expecting for my skin to get worse before it got better, I did everything I could to make sure I would reduce potential irritation as much as possible, so I looked to the Environmental Working Group (EWG) website for help in finding the right stuff. This was on the top of the list for safest facial cleansers and after reading about some others on the list, decided to go with this one. I use this as my cleanser, wait an hour, and then apply the Tretinoin. In the morning I either wash with this again or with just water and then apply vitamin e oil from the capsule to my skin. Well, I never had a phase where my skin looked worse- It began to improve visibly after the second application and has gotten better and better ever since. I've been using the combination of those three things (and zinc oxide sunscreen!) every day for about 3 months. My skin looks and feels amazing. **very important note: To use this cleanser, you MUST apply on dry skin! then rinse with warm water, then cold. For some reason, applying to wet skin just doesn't work as well. *oh, and I'm using .025% Tretinoin in a cream base

I have sensitive, combination skin that is prone to acne. This is a great face wash! You need to use an eye make-up remover beforehand or wash 2-3 times to get mascara off. I had to get used the feeling the cleanser leaves on your skin after washing. It makes you feel like you have a light layer off oil on after your shower but it quickly observes and does not leave your skin greasy or oily.

This is perfect for my sensitive skin. I have dermatitis and skin allergies, on top of rosacea. I've been using this product for several years and it is the only one I have found that does not inflame my skin. It also does not dry my skin out at all and leaves it feeling healthy and soft. Removes makeup well! I've set up Subscribe and Save for this product so that I get a new delivery right when I need it. The price is better with Subscribe and Save than ordering direct from Weleda.

I've been using this gentle skin cleanser since last winter, and it is my favorite brand now. The scent is slightly almond. It's best to massage it all over your face (avoiding the eyes) and then rinse with lukewarm water. Pat dry the skin. When it's warm and humid, you might not even need moisturizer, but in winter you can follow with Weleda's sensitive skin moisturizer, which is a light formula that also smells like almonds a little. At around $22 a tube (lasts up to 4-6 months), this is a good value. You may like the fact that Weleda doesn't test on animals and uses natural ingredients. It has been around in Europe since the 1920s.

I love this product. I have tried several different cleansers for sensitive skin. I love this one because it's a lotion (but you definitely couldn't use it in place of a moisturizer, tried that once just to see :) ). It does not dry your skin out in anyway, and it does moisturize and clean. Seems like a small amount but a little goes a very long way, especially if you get your face damp first. This is the only facial cleansing product I've used that doesn't irritate my skin, and sometimes I even use it to remove eye make up while I'm using it to wash my face, and it does not sting my eyes. The only other product I've used that comes close is MyChelle Honeydew cleanser for sensitive skin but even that stings my eyes and irritates my skin if I don't wash it off fast enough. I love, love, love Weleda.

I'm surprised some reviewers say this irritated their skin because this is as gentle as possible. I don't wear makeup so not sure if it removes makeup well. But it makes your skin feel cleansed with zero dryness. Subtle almond scent is nice. Obviously not for people with an almond allergy. It has a small amount of alcohol in it too. A tube of this goes really quickly, so it's not a great value.

Zur täglichen Abschminkroutine , bei sensibler Haut. Ich finde es sehr angenehm und es reinigt meine Haut ohne zu reizen. Weleda ist eben sehr gute Qualität ohne Gedöns.

Love it for my hypersensitive skin. It has a mild natural smell, cleanses gently and rinses off nicely. It doesn’t give that “squeaky clean” feeling—it’s more of a gentle emollient type of cleansing—but my skin looks and feels softer and is way less reactive and itchy than it was before I started using this.

Got it for my mom. Had to get 3 more. She loves it.
