STM Myth 18L Laptop Backpack - Durable and Stylish Backpack with Pockets for 15-Inch Laptop and 16-Inch MacBook Pro Protection - Black

Me parece una mochila compacta, cómoda y segura una MacBook M4 14', tiene poca bolsillos para mi gusto pero no por eso deja de ser excelente.

1) Very good laptop bag for the money, it’s quite protective, equaling the protection of some much more expensive bags in my opinion. 2) the outside pocket has no closure (no zipper, no hook and loop, no nothing -it’s just open. I don’t use it. 3) It’s not a 28L bag. Say what you want, it’s not, and it’s not close. The manufacturer’s specifications for dimensions (47x30x17cm) would give us just under 24K CCs (basic math, assuming it’s a rectilinear shaped bag). It’s not rectilinear shaped bag, so it feels like it’s probably closer to a 23L bag. But all the bag makers seem to be fudging their specs a bit. 3) I was able to put a 17” laptop in it (Dell 9710). It was close, but it fits. 4) I replaced mine, but am keeping it as a loaner for when kids need it to take a laptop or something. It’s far better than anything I’ve seen from Fjallraven (I actually just threw away a Fjallraven Kanken, and this now becomes my new spare bag).

The backpack is well designed; however, after 2 1/2 years one of the zippers broke. STM refused to honor their lifetime warranty saying that we had bought the back pack from an unauthorized retailer via Amazon. How does a consumer know whether a retailer is authorized or not? Plus, this is a manufacturer's warranty regardless of sales channel. I am greatly disappointed in STM's lack of customer service

I really wanted to like this bag. The problem is that the organization pockets are too small. Once you put a laptop and tablet in all of the other pockets are unusable because they’re so tight you can’t get anything into them ended up returning the bag. Build quality is great if you have just a laptop to carry or just a tablet, but not both this is a great choice.

I am 6-2 men. This is perfect slim backpack. I have inside on day to day carry 16 inch Dell laptop, medium size umbrella, bose headphones, power bank, glasses, keys. It would fit iPad as well, but I don't carry one.

I love all STM products. This backpack is great. I bought the 28L size and really love it. I bring my laptop, iPad Pro, my lunch, water bottle, coffee mug and much more in the bag. A great purchase!

Very well designed

The blue version is darker and therefore a bit more subtle than the pics suggest and about a million more pockets than they shows. Lots of different materials inside show plenty of quality craftsmanship, including a wonderfully velvet laptop area. Very very pleased.

Pros: + Looks great + Water resistant (not tested it fully but in the heavy shower I encountered everything in the bag was bone dry) + Lots of pockets that are all practical, for chargers, notepads, a mouse, accessories, etc. + Nice snug fit for the laptop, feels secure and protected once in + Feels good to wear; it's not heavy even when the laptop is in and lots of other things too. Straps are comfy and the bag almost feels like it's not there Cons: - not so much a con, but it is expensive Overall, would definitely recommend for a more "premium" laptop bag experience!

Edit: Unfortunately, I have only had this bag for 18 months and the zip has failed twice. My old backpack was completely technically fine after 6 years, it just faded and didn't look as cool. In contrast, the main zip on this one broke away from the fabric after less than a year and I just put some stitches in and lived with it being weaker in that area; now it's broken yet again in a different area, and worse. Luckily this was immediately before rather than during a big international trip, so I had to repack into a different bag. I'm going to get it repaired and hopefully strengthened locally, but I'm very disappointed and in the meantime left without a backpack, which I use every day. Edit 2: even after fixing, it repeatedly breaks. This bag has caused so much annoyance it's ridiculous. I bet most of the high-star reviews are from people who haven't had it long. Their customer service completely failed to respond. Original post: It was finally time to replace my posh backpack used daily for the past 6ish years. This definitely does it justice! The pockets are accessible and perfectly-sized. The main pocket can fit an absolute ton of stuff in, and being able to open it all the way out is so useful. The backpack is also so light! I thought my last one was super light so I was worried this was going to be heavy - instead it's barely more than a feather. Only additional thing I'd ask for is a water bottle holder (which I often use for umbrellas as well).
