Scottoiler Essentials - micro-vSystem - Automatic Motorcycle Chain Oiler

Been using these all my motorcycling life, simply works. Get them set up right form the start. This smaller one is great and when used with an expansion bag ideal touring set up

previously had standard sized oilers and was short of space under the seat for my new bike. Micro system gives greater flexibility for fitting locations. Its capacity is more than large enough for a few days riding and if touring will just take a small bottle in the panier to top up. instructions on line for fitting are great

Scott oiler now fitted to a Bandit 12 Mk1 with a scorpion twin nozzle for sprocket... Very happy with the product and quick arrival.

After scrubbing the swingarm clean with degreaser, then alcohol wipes (supplied) the main large sticky pad that holds the dispenser needle fell off before even riding, and the sticky pads that hold the clear tube fell off within 5 mins of riding. The gray adhesive pad is crap: peeling it off showed that it wasn't even adhering to the plastic pad itself. And the white foam pads: stuck very well to the plastic pad itself but fell off my swingarm. So I replaced that hard gray adhesive with Mammoth brand sticky tape (Toolstation), and 3d printed some large cable-tie pads including a curved one to stick to the inside of the swingarm. Cleaned surfaces with Acetone instead of Isopropyl supplied. The small pads need at least 2x the surface area and proper 3M sticky pads or similar. Brilliant device otherwise. Bled itself just fine and works like it should. Also small enough to tuck away out of sight - I've strapped mine to the evap canister on my CBR650R. The bike didn't have much use for 3 years before my ownership and developed some really stiff links. I was using WD40 chain lube on it for about 6000 miles but the links remained really stiff, the spray grease simply wasn't penetrating through. It was vibrating the whole bike like mad. Now using plain red ATF in the Scottoiler, the chain absolutely loves it. Silky smooth, you can feel the reduced rolling resistance even just spinning the wheel when the bike is on the stand.

40+ years of motorcycle riding I have never used a chain lubrication system. Wish I bought one years ago. Fitted this to my Enfield interceptor 650 when I changed the chain. Works really well, reducing the number of times I have to adjust the chain due to wear.

Once installed and set to the right setting it works great and the chain allows looks clean and oiled.

Guy that was fitting this said there is every attachment for every bike except for my bmw f800 g/s. He phoned Scotoiler in Milngavie and the guy is bringing the necessary attachment to fit it but is charging an extra £5....Scotoiler = bad show.

Encantado, no estaba muy seguro cuando lo compré, pero después de unos meses estoy encantado. No mancha casi nada, te olvidas de estar limpiando y engrasando todas las semanas, en mi caso. La instalación es fácil, aunque necesitas un rato para ponerlo todo en su sitio.

Ordered a new auto oiler received a secondhand oiler in the box wrapped in a plastic bag filled with oil clearly can be seen. It has been on another motorbike for quite a considerable length of time returned immediately.

Eccezionale la catena è sempre pulita e lubrificata

Je suis client des produits Scottoiler depuis des années. Leurs produits sont de qualité, et ce modèle ne déroge pas. La seule remarque que je ferai est la relative du réservoir pour celui-ci. Du reste c’est un produit conforme à mes attentes et qui s’installe assez rapidement (en fonction des motos, bien entendu). Je recommande.
