Okay, we were looking for something to give away for Father's Day at our church. Pricing is always a concern for me and these came in well under budget. This is not a craftsman tool so let's be clear to begin with but talk about handy. Here you have your writing pin that you could in a pinch lay it down to make sure something is level or stand it on its side to make sure your level. Maybe you need a quick measurement and you can get that in metric or inches. How about touching a screen when you have gloves on your hand well there you go. Oh and by the way if you unscrew the end of it with the silicone there you'll find that there are a little mini Philips and you flip it over to a standard screwdriver built in. The replacement ink are very short and not your traditional click pen replacements and it had enough that each one we were able to give two additional replacements. I like the variety of color and boy did we have a winner when we gave this one out. So if you're looking to give out a gift or something kind of unusual I thought this little multi-tool was really special and yes the pin writes well. if you're looking to give some gifts to some people or a stocking stuffer or something along those lines I think you would do good with this. Who really needs a pen that has all of these extra features? I do for one and so many of my friends really like them as well. I have given out 6 of these as spur-of-the-moment gifts for friends and they love them. Firstly, they write very well and smoothly. The ink is black and I would have liked to have gotten some with blue as well, but I am so happy with the quality I am not going to complain. Then, these pens also have a small ruler on the side and a level. They have a built-in Flat and Phillips screwdriver. One of the best features for some people has to be the stylus. I have always disliked any stylus because they have wide footprints and do not make good contact, this stylus actually works well on both my cell phone and Kindle. With 16 pens and 40 refills, there is little doubt these will last a long time before they wear out or I need to find other refills. I can confidently recommend these pens.

I got this idea from when I was at Lowes, they had a pen just like this, but metal. Searching here on Amazon I did not expect to find the exact replica. When these pens came in, I was actually disappointed. You get what you see, but when they say plastic they mean plaaaaaastic. These would not last in a garage for long. Fortunately, my dad and father in law do not do a lot of projects like they use to so the pens are fine for them but I am certain my brother will break them within a couple of months simply by dropping them.

When I first opened these they felt cheap to me but after having use them for a while they are actually pretty decent. Not the best ink quality but it's nice to have the stylus tip on the end for the smartphone and I like that it has a clip to attach to your pocket. Couldn't argue with the price either.

I love these pens. They write so smoothly and are easy to grip. Great colors and great features like the level and the ruler.

Plastic barrel is not strong and easy to bend. Writes ok but just not up to the standard of others I've used.
