UGREEN USB C Extension Cable 1M, 100W 4K Type C Extension for laptops

Understandably with the amount of charging and information afforded by USB C, extending wires with quality is a problem, and I haven’t seen longer wires that claim to do this. This one, whilst shorter, does the job well.

This is a good solid cable, and the connectors are solid. It carries both data and power, which is what I needed, for the car. I use it as an extension cable in my car, to extend the very short cable that comes with a wireless CarPlay adapter. Two reasons: i) mount the CarPlay adapter out of the way near my front dash; ii) to swap the USB-C outlet in the car for use between the wireless CarPlay adapter, and wired CarPlay connection for the phone (if I am going on a long trip where I need to power the phone, it might was well have a wired CarPlay connection too, for faster responsiveness). The cable on the wireless CarPlay adapter is rather thin, and its USB-C connection point is not very sturdy. I know it would not survive repeated plugging and unplugging. So, I now leave the wireless CarPlay adapter attached to the female end of this extension cord, and unplug/plug this extension cord to the car when I need to swap out the wireless CarPlay adapter. The only downside is that this cable is longer than I need (at 1.5 foot), so I need to coil it up. It would be preferable to have a cable that is only 6" long, but this was all I could find, and it does the job.
