Allen Edmonds Mens Strandmok

As always, Allen Edmonds has created an awesome product. This is my second pair of AE shoes. Yes they are expensive, but if taken care of and with the redrafting program through AE, they should last years if not decades. I think these are great for a dressy yet casual look with denim. The rubber soles are nice in that they provide a bit more traction than the traditional leather soles and I don't have to worry about being as careful about making sure the sole dries properly if I'm out in the rain with them. Very comfortable...they feels almost as comfortable as wearing tennis shoes (after a short break in period)...these are my go to shoes when I want to look good but know I'll be doing a lot of walking (I've worn them all day while exploring new cities). Highly recommended. These will definitely not be the last pair of Allen Edmonds shoes I buy!

I ended up having to return these because although the quality is excellent and they arrived safe and sound, the fit was much too narrow. I normally take an 11d but I could not even get this 11d on. It was so tight around the InStep. I ended up going to the local Allen Edmonds retailer and got an 11 triple e which was just right.

I purchased this as new. The shoes were included, but one original included component was partially damaged and had identifying labels/stickers. This affected the overall completeness of what was included.

I am generally a size 10 wide. Amazon recommended a size 11. They were wrong. I’m a size 10 wide in this shoe. I returned for a refund. I have since purchased the correct size. These are my favorite pair of shoes. They are well made. They are handmade. And they will last a lifetime as long as you recraft them and service the leather. They are comfortable, stylish, and bit sexy.

Gorgeous shoes! They were on sale and I jumped on it. So glad I did! I have very wide feet and the EEE width fits like a glove! So nice not to have pressure on the side of my feet when wearing dress shoes. I will try to get these beauties in other colors as well, they are hard to come by.

Just got them and have only worn them once for a few hours. So far so good. Love the look and the quality of the shoe seems great as well.

Extremely pleased with the quality and fit of these shoes. I’ve read claims of factory seconds and can assure you that these shoes are not seconds. Flawless in craftsmanship and great fit.

Very narrow shoe. After a few minutes it was cutting off the blood flow to my toes. It's too bad since they are very high quality and look great.

Ordered 10EE, but received 10EEE: width was excellent, but length was too much. The quality is evident in every aspect of this Allen Edmonds product, but I have unusually difficult feet to fit... I am very buoyed to know that Allen Edmonds produces triple wide shoes, but, their lasts seem to be slightly larger than mass-production companies: I'm confident that I will be able to get shoes from Allen Edmonds that fit perfectly; but, this first mail-order attempt has resulted in a necessary return.

Great shoes

Great looking shoe, a little tight but they have stretched enough to be comfortable. If you have a wide foot they would be too tight, my feet are somewhere in between narrow and wide.

Appear Factory seconds, multiple imperfections

The shoes were delivered on time. These are genuine Allen Edmonds of impeccable quality. I couldn’t find any flaw with them. They are a beautiful dark brown color with a violet hue when the sun shines on them. I ordered 43 EU which corresponds to 10D US, half a size bigger than my regular shoe size. I don’t regret the choice as the horizontal cap toe line makes the Strandmok - a nubuck variant of the Strand model, optically wider and shorter. So these look perfect.
