Simple is often best
I was looking for an easy way to power my new dash cam without permanently occupying my accessory (cigarette lighter) socket. So I bought this socket to dedicate to my dash cam. I didn't need to mount it in view, I didn't need a fuse (I have one), and I didn't need two or three or four of them. I just needed one socket with two simple wires. And that's what I got, very happily, with this order. The quality looks good, the fit is good and the wires seem robust.I was working on my car in front of my house when it was delivered by Amazon and I picked it up from my front porch, went straight back to my car and wired it into place with no trouble in ten minutes. It was the last part I needed for the install. It's zip-tied up under my dash out of sight along with the camera's power plug and it's wired in to my main cigarette lighter circuit (behind the dashboard) for power. Now my dash cam is fully automated. If you don't plan to use your dash cam as a 24 security monitor, with always-on power, you can use this method instead of ordering an aftermarket hardwire kit.

Good Quality but only 19 AWG...
If it were a couple bucks less, it would be worth 5 stars. But there is definite misinformation about the wire size in the "answered questions" section. I counted 47 strands of .0055" diameter cu in each wire. The cross-sectional area of the conductor is 0.752 square mm or 1484 circular mils. Which would place the wire gauge around 19 AWG , good for 10 to 15 amps DC depending on how hot you can tolerate the insulation getting.Too bad the wire size was not explicitly stated in the product description, and this omission led to some inaccurate guesses.
