I really like these but I’m sure they won’t be everyone’s cup of tea. They are not sweet at all. It tastes like orange zest. So it pretty much taste like and orange peel but I like how it just ads something to boring water. These are cheaper on Amazon than they are in the store so I definitely buy them on Amazon.

I carry these in my wallet (along with the Tru Lemon packets) to add to my iced tea when eating out. Delicious!

After the success that was True Lemon, I decided to try True Orange. I just love the flavor of orange, and thought that I was in for a treat with this one. While it does come in a package that contains 100 packets of this stuff, I couldn't help but feel underwhelmed by the lack of flavor. Still, thetaste isn't too horrible as much as it is just bland. it's a very healthy sugar alternative that happens to be a great value, and it comes ina. apckage that is easy to transport from your home to your office. I recommend adding these to a green or white tea. Hot or iced? Doesn't matter which.

First I should preface this review by saying that I've never gotten in the habit of drinking plain water, and as a result, never automatically chose, let alone preferred water to quench thirst, or for whatever other reason (weight-loss & other health benefits, etc.). Instead, I would instinctively reach for other, far less healthy beverages (and by that I don't mean alcohol beverages because I absolutely HATE the taste of alcohol, and therefore don't drink) like sodas, fruit "juices", fruit punch, and other sugary drinks. As a child I grew up drinking milk, juices, and later on, sodas and coffee, and in comparison, always thought water was too flavorless and gross. Yet at one point, in my mid-to-late teens, I was even drinking as many as two or three or even four 20 oz bottles of Coke® (or other soft drinks like Sierra Mist ) per day. Despite that, at that time, I was still a normal weight for my height, and was not (and had never been) gaining weight excessively, or anything of the kind. Unfortunately, soon after that, an idiot doctor put me on medications (for an unrelated & mostly lifelong medical problem) that caused such uncontrollable appetite and massive weight increase, that I gained over 100 lbs in just 2 years. Although the weight gain was due to the side effects of the meds, even after getting off the meds, I've still been having incredible trouble losing the weight that I'd gained because of the meds. So, I finally realized that if I really wanted to lose the weight, the only way I would start shedding pounds, was if I not only got control of what I ate, but ALSO what I drank. I knew I needed to deal with my sugary beverage addiction and I had to not only stop drinking soda (or at least the sugary, commercially-made sodas) but also significantly reduce or even eliminate my consumption of other sugary drinks (like fruit "juices"), and start getting used to (albeit however slowly) drinking water instead. True Orange (along with the GREAT other variations I've tried so far, like True Lime and True Lemon ) have been a LIFESAVER in getting off the addiction to commercially-made sodas and other sugary drinks and making the transition to choosing water as the default beverage. In the beginning (and even on occasion now) when I was craving the carbonated fizz and bubbles of soda, I used True Orange or its variations, to make my own homemade soda, by mixing plain carbonated water (seltzer water) with a few packets of True Orange or True Lime or True Lemon (or sometimes even a blend of the Lemon AND Lime!) and a few packets of a natural zero-calorie sweetener like Stevia (such as Truvia Natural Sweetener ) Over time I slowly reduced the amount of True Orange/True Lime/True Lemon, and Stevia sweetener, and have gotten it down to the point where most of the time I'm drinking essentially plain water -- albeit still infused with fresh lemons, limes, or other fruit, or a packet of True Orange or True Lime or True Lemon and a packet of Truvia. On occasion I still DO drink other stuff (like on Thanksgiving Day, I splurged and had some non-alcoholic Organic Sparkling Cider) but thanks in large part to True Orange (and its varieties) I've gotten rid of my soda/sugary drink addiction, and now actually enjoy drinking water -- and together with dietary and physical activity changes, will hopefully one day soon, be back at my original weight prior to the meds, only this time, thanks to this great product, rather than going back to drinking sodas & other sugary drinks, I will be enjoying sticking to water!!!

1 packet per 16 oz is not near enough. 4 packets will do 20 oz of water with ice. Be prepared to add sweetener as it’s not sweet enough on its own. The taste eventually is good.

WE LOVE THESE!!! if you love citrus and haven't had these take my word- they are delicious and absolutely worth it! We love fresh citrus as snacks, in water, and to cook with and these not only make everything so convenient but they save us so much money as well!!! We keep lemon and lime shakers to add to our water at home but packets are great for on-the-go. They have absolutely increased the amount of water we drink and enjoy as well as no waste & no mess as with fresh produce- especially with cost of groceries anymore. I've tried lemon, lime, grapefruit, orange, and the lime, cilantro, and garlic and love them all. I use in cooking and it's arguably more flavorful than fresh plus one less fruit/veg to buy, wash, cut, clean up after. Most recently I used in Greek salad dressing and baked fish and 100% delicious and you'd never know not fresh. I bought the lime, ginger, cilantro fir my mom, who makes tons of guacamole and she had no interest in using but I talked her into it and she loves it now too and will save a ton on fresh produce. I also get dry mouth from multiple meds I take and twice now was without water and terrible cotton mouth so sprinkled a little of a powder I had in my purse in desperation and it was delicious and did the trick until I could get a drink. I highly recommend and bonus- the packets fit perfectly in mini 3 compartment storage containers (with lids) from Dollar Tree so for just $1.25 each you can have a convenient, quick set up/storage for your packets!
