I loved this boot so much this is my second pair of them. Even though it says not recommended for riding, I've ridden over 40K miles in these boots and love them. My only complaint is they have ZERO for arch support, but a simple OTC orthotic shoe insert from Dr. Scholl's fixes that and they are good to do. They are not waterproof but I treat mine several times a year with scotchguard spray which makes them highly water resistant for those times when I get caught riding in the rain. I still have my original pair of these boots but I flat out wore them out so decided to invest in a new pair and keep the old ones for a spare.
