Color:Stainless Steel Microvisor is a state of the art mini hood designed to attach to a "microwave over the range(MOR)" in order to provide improved exhaust functionality of the existing microwave. The Microwave Over Range is normally 15” deep, and all cooktops/ranges are a minimum of 24” deep, it is virtually impossible to effectively exhaust the fumes from cooking on the front burners. The Microvisor mini hood is 29 7/8" wide, 1' high at the front and 1 1/2"high at the back. 8 1/2" deep. When inserted into the bracket it projects forward of the microwave oven by 6 1/2" to assist in capturing the smoke, grease and odors off the front cooking surface. The Microvisor mini hood is inserted into the bracket and removed by simply pulling it out, and installs in less than 3 minutes. After 2 years of design and manufacturing prototypes, the Microvisor has been perfected and refined to its present form. It has been proven to capture 70% of the cooking fumes and odors produced while cooking on the front burners of a cooktop or stove. It assists in preventing the smoke, grease and odors from mixing with the air in your home and accumulating on furniture and cabinets by funneling the cooking by products back into the exhaust system of your MOR. It has been proven that fumes from cooking oils escaping into the air of your home are harmful to your . The Microvisor Hood is removable, easy to store, & no electrical components, no filters, this is "NOT A MICROWAVE", BUT AN ADD ON FOR A MICROWAVE OVER THE RANGE" ***Discler – Some images show Microvisor with branding on the corner. At the request of our customers we have removed this branding.*** Microwaves with a convex or non-flush bottom may require the 5/8" nylon spacer kit. ****In order to install on Samsung model microwaves or any Samsung microwave with center removable- slide in/out grease filter the "Samsung Microwave 1" Spacer Kit-1-0SK" will need to be purchased along with the Microvisorhood.
