Great Value
I grabbed this DURATECH reversible ratcheting combination wrench set for work, and overall it’s been really handy and good quality for the price. The ratcheting ends work smoothly and the reversible mechanism makes turning bolts quicker without having to flip the wrench every time — great for everyday tasks and general repairs.

Works for me.
I am a oil burner service tech, and I have used Husky and gear wrenches for years. I decided to try Durotec because of price about 4 months, I will say I have been surprised how well these wrenches are holding up. The open end doesn't seem to spread like the other brand I have used, and I haven't had any problems with the ratcheting part. So far so good.

Check them over right away and submit return if anything is wrong.
11/16th wrench switching on its own while trying to tighten or loosen....no problem to get a replacement set and then choosing the best from both to make a keeper set. Then just send back all the worst ones.

Like most geezers, over the years I’ve accumulated a hodgepodge of tools. Always seem to be missing the one I needed for the job and had to use another not-quite-right replacement if and when I could find it. These sets, sae and metric cover most situations and are conveniently packaged. Might not cover every situation, but that’s inevitable. provides entertainment for the tool gods. Ratchets seem sturdy. You pay a little more for the type that lets you switch direction without flipping the tool, but well worth it. These would make a nice gift for the home handyman.
