Have anyone noticed insect fragments in the product?

I honestly do not know and it's not mentioned on the Date Lady website. However, my impression is that it is not cooked. You must store it airtight in the fridge after opening. My reasons for thinking it is raw are the consistency of the paste, the taste of the paste, and storing in the fridge.

Can date paste be used to sweeten coffee and tea? Does it leave a taste however it is used?
