How does it do in wind & rain? How do you secure it over rocks cape?

I painted mine. Wind and rain it's fine but I take it inside for the winter. I also set it on two patio blocks and used concrete screws so no one would steal it

Would this support a beefy housecat?

Oh sure it will. My ratcha is beefy also and she climbs all over on it. So sure it’ll hold your cat. :))

What are the dimensions?

When I got the bridge it was 9 3/4" wide, but it was too high and too long, so I cut it down to 29" long and 6" high. To accomplish this, I removed the bottom 2 slats on each end of the bridge.

Would it be sturdy enough for a toddler to climb on?

I think it depends on how much the toddler weighs, but I wouldn't chance it. I even wonder if my cat would break it, although I've placed several protective coatings on it. Decided to use it over a small pond in the Spring.

Its not as big as it seems

Its well made and a very cute little bridge. But as said, small and cute. If you need it as a decoration element for your garden - perfect but no way even for kids to walk over it. Check well the dimensions before you purchase it.
