Welders gave me the thumbs up. Quality tool for the cost. Ease of use. No problems. Different sizes make it space saving & cost effective. My understanding is, it's sharp & good cut. Strong materials.

Drilled a hole in stainless steel as advertised!
As advertised, this made short work of drilling a new hole in a stainless steel sink. I was a bit skeptical when ordering however it worked really well and looks like it will continue to be usable for some time. If drilling a lot of holes in stainless this is probably not the ideal tool but for the occasional work it knocked it out of the park. Recommended!

Great step bit all kinds of material and for limited drilling in stainless steel
This turned out to be a great step bit. I first used it on a stainless steel sink to enlarge a hole for a soap dispenser. It worked great for that. I used an ice cube on the hole and on the bit while drilling in order to keep everything cool. I also used it to drill a new drain hole in a plastic boat and it worked fine for that. I really liked the off color rings on it to easily see what depth I was at. Even though I think this is a great product I would consider a more expensive higher end brand if I was going to be drilling multiple holes in stainless steel

It cuts thru stainless steel like butter.
Went thru and spent a lot of time trying to drill thru a SS Sink flange to no avail using traditional tungsten and carbide bits (over an hour). Was looking for alternatives when I came across this. I have never used this type of bit. So I decided to give it a try and kill two birds with one stone. To my amazement, it cut thru the SS flange like butter. In less than a minute it made the hole. Worth every penny. Can't say enough how impressed I was, and it is still sharp.
