SITKA Fanatic Optifade Elevated II Bib

Excellent product. I did not end up keeping this specific product as it was the incorrect size. I would encourage any of you buying from this seller to read the seller reviews. If you are 100% sure of your size, you shouldn't have any issues. This product was texted in Northwoods Wisconsin Hunting season, during the rut. Anywhere from 30 to 50 degrees and 0 to 17mph winds. Hands down, these are the warmest, quietest, best quality, windproof, Hunting bibs I've ever worn. Buy them! You won't regret it!

It has taken me many years to finally break down and order these. The price is ridiculous, but worth it. The weather in northern Missouri can get to zero and below with blisteringly cold winds. I was tired of being miserable during those fridged hunts, so I splurged. I knew they would be warm but I really dint expect to fall in love with the functionality! Sitka thought of everything in the design. Leg zippers that go to your hips, multiple pockets in each thigh, including one that is designed for your phone, open access to your pants pockets underneath and these super cool pockets over your belly to warm your hands. Plus theses are so quite!!! If you hunt in conditions below 32 degrees, these will change your experience, guaranteed! Finally, I used them in temps as warm as 42 degrees and was surprised that I didn’t get too hot.

These bibs are very well made. Pockets are in the right places, the fabric is really quiet as are the zipper and closures on pockets. I like the full side zippers and front zipper that let you wear these bibs comfortably on still hunts below 35F. You do not want to pack those in since they do not compress to a small size but I am always wearing them to start out and use the venting as described when walking. I am 6'2" 195 pounds and got an XL. First I thought it was a bit big but after using it a few times I like that I got it a bit oversized. In warm weather with zippers open the bibs stay cooler with the loose fit and they are big enough to let you layer for cold weather. The coldest I have worn them was 10F with just a thin long john underneath and I kept nicely warm in them. The fabric is soft and quiet and light rain with the fanatic bibs and Jacket are no problem. The only downside they have is that they pick up plant seeds/tacks that you will have to pick off once in a while.

Used this during a 10 day bow hunting trip in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan during December, temperatures range between minus 8 to 30 degree and i sit no less than 3 hours at a time, some days dust to dawn ( 9 hour hunts). I was always warm, garment was quite and i like the design as it was able to use the zippers to regulate my body temperature during the long walks to my tree stand. Zippers down the side to the pant makes it easy to get this on and off. Because the garment is so warm i did not need to wear lots of layers, i just wore one pair of insulated underwear. Everyone at my camp wants this hunting suit for next year as they had 4-5 layers and became cold after 3 hours. Cost is high for this outfit but worth it.

You get exactly what they say! Extremely warm and comfortable, very well thought out, with storage and quiet everything!

I have just received these so here are my initial impressions: I really like the fit of the bibs(Large @ 5' 10" at 170lbs) and they are very quiet. 2 negatives to be aware of: The insulation in the legs stops at the knee. Why doesn't it go to the foot? The material will NOT hold up to briars or brush. That, combined with how warm they are, you will want to carry them into the stand and then put them on. The hip-high leg zippers really help there.

Wore this bibs with the fanatic jacket during the first week of WV Buck Firearm Season this year (2022). The mornings were in the low 20's and highs in the upper 40's to low 50's. In the morning I stayed warm and the buck I shot didn't hear me moving around in the blind trying to get in position to shoot. I will say the jacket is incredibly warm where it was too much in the evening but these bibs were just fine. Not as heavy as I thought.

I bought the coat retail. Didn't think I needed the bibs as I have others. After wearing the jacket and being so fuzzy warm & quiet in 20 degree weather, I had to buy the bibs. 6'2" and 185#. Ordered Med Tall. Right length, but way too tight. Ordered the large in reg and they are perfect. So many pockets, features and options on these bibs they are the cat's meow. Expensive as I told the wife, but me being almost 50, they maybe the last pair I ever buy.
