Can A4 documents fit in the bag?

No. The bag is not big enough to hold a standard A4 folder and individual A4 sheets would bend.

Are the straps and monkey of the kipling Amiel Dragonfly print black or navy blue?

Sorry mine is. It this colour mine is a emerald blue colour and handles are same colour

Is the Dazz Purple really as dark as the picture?

Enlarge the picture before you view it & that is the colour, very true to life. It is very attractive & would allow you to wear a range of colours whereas the Summer Purple (the latest from Kipling) is very very bright, more like a bright blue mixed with bright purple & WOULD limit your range of colours. If you want a lighter purple look at the Purple(Violet Shades). The Blue Purple isn't as nice as the Dazz Purple. The style of the bag is very good with the back zip being a good length giving good access to the deep back pocket. I am a sucker for this bag & have many colours in this style. All the colours are very true to life so my advice is to open your wardrobe in daylight, enlarge each picture & view alongside your clothes. Kipling has such a wide range of colours. Try not to buy too many! Good Luck!
