Lenovo THINKPAD E555 New Replacement LCD Screen for Laptop LED HD Matte

The screen came early, and works like a charm. Unfortunately, mine had a stuck pixel with a fairly large halo around it, about the size of the laptop's webcam. Overall though, I am happy and would purchase again.Installation was fairly straight forward on my E555 - Simply remove the bezel from the front of the monitor with a spudger, and a little force will be needed for the bottom. Then, the original monitor can be removed with 4 screws. Disconnecting the LCD ribbon was a bit tricky, as mine had a sticker on it which almost took apart the connector. There's a gold colored bar holding the ribbon in place I needed to lift with a knife, after that the connector came off easily. Reassembly was straight forward, except the bezel which was tricky. I found focusing on the bottom corners helped when snapping it back on.

I ordered this with an expected delivery of about 5 days, but it arrived very quickly in only two days! I was very pleasantly surprised. The screen is very simple to install, just some screws and a ribbon cable to attach. It only took about 10 minutes and was much easier than I expected. There are also a couple of videos on YouTube explaining how to change it out. Some other reviewers mentioned having a dead pixel, which I would have been fine with, but my screen seems to be in perfect condition without any issues. Very satisfied with this purchase so far, and would definitely recommend this product.

Easy install, and screen looks good. I don't see any dead pixels or odd colors.
