How do you get this stuff to mix? Foams in blender, congeals if heated and clumps if stirred. After scooping out the clumps/foam there's not much left

There is a simple way to mix it by hand, using a small wire whisk - no blender is needed, no shaker jar is needed and clean-up is fast. Here is the trick - initially, put only a little water or other liquid in a cup, glass or jar etc - no more than about two tablespoons of liquid should be used at first, per scoop of powder. Use a small wire whisk to first mix by hand a scoop of powder into a paste like consistency with minimal liquid. Foaming, clumping and stickiness will be then be minimal. Problems can occur if you start off with more liquid than is needed to make a paste. After making a well-mixed paste, you can mix in an additional 8 fluid ounces of liquid to drink it as it is. If you want to blend it with other ingredients, you can now easily pour it in the blender.

Has anyone tried the vanilla version? I'm getting tired of chocolate and love vanilla...but it surprisingly gets bad reviews? Is it really so bad?

I think the vanilla is amazing - far and above the best protein powder I have ever tasted, and my kids love it too. I like to throw in a bit of frozen banana and an avocado to make it creamier (easy to make it "pudding-like" if desired) and even a couple of strawberries. I have no clue why the reviews for this flavor would be bad because I think it's delicious!

Why is there caramel flavoring?! I have this at home and caramel flavoring is not listed as an ingredient. So disappointed

I don't see caramel flavoring listed, only "natural flavors". It does contain cocoa powder.

Should I buy this or iso 100 to get lean

I don't know if I can answer that, but the Iso protein brand gives me a stomach ache. This is much easier to digest.
