According to me you should go for it without any hesitation. Price - As we concentrate on the price of this book or we compare it with the books of Todd, big difference. When I am saying big difference then do not compare it with the old editions of Todd's books. Compare it with the latest editions of the Todd's books. Big difference. So as i said above, it covers all the topics by Cisco, so price is quite beautiful if we talk about Certification books. Material - This is one of most important factor in terms of books. First of all it is Paperback book. When you look at the price of this book, you will be glad. But when you purchased this book, then you feel that why the price this book is quite low. Because the quality of the pages are average. Average means average. Neither too good nor too bad. I can bet you can not say that the quality of the pages are very bad. Because it more than that. So the quality of the pages are so - so. 4 Star - 4 Star only because of above paragraphs last line { Therefore no 5 star }.

The best book ever to pass ccna 200-301 volume 1 and 2 just awesome

This book contain complete syllabus for ICND2 exam. Quality of the pages are low and back and white, but book is cheaper than colour pages book so one can buy it for study purpose for one time. It comes with compact disc with activation key. I recommend to buy this product.

Well detailed, excellent material for exam prep

This is the 2nd book that students and instructors will use to prepare for the CCNA exam and just the CNET2 exams. The first book 100-101 covers the information in Introduction to Networking and Routing and Switching Essentials. This book covers the next 2 courses Scaling Networks and Connecting Networks. The book prepares the individual through extensive theory, well thought labs complete with quizzes. There is an exam simulator that provides the students with virtual labs to complete the simplest of task to the most complex. A recommended book!

Even though Cisco is revising their test. . . . .This is actually one of the best Cisco prep books to buy especially if you can get a price discount. . . . this version has an excellent and very thorough Cisco Lab simulator included (the very same labs that you will be charged additionally for in later editions) I own both the 200-101 and the 200-105 and not seeing a whole lot of difference. Wendell Odom textbooks covers the materials very thoroughly and if used with the target exam objectives on the Cisco website the extensive labs in the 200-101 passing the test was easier (the test is not easy but you will feel well prepared for the rigors of the exam). Of course the newer editions provide a lighter version of the same labs (approx. 75% fewer lab simulators) but they do allow you the option of paying for additional lab sims most are the same simulator labs that were provided in the earlier editions as no additional cost . . . .in comparison to Todd Lammle's text (which is another great CCNA learning manual) that provides access to CBT (micro) Nuggets (audio-visual training by Jeremy Cioara) to help explain the tricks to understanding and grasping difficult Cisco concepts without spending endless hours on youtube. So, if I had to recommend a CCNA prep book I would select Wendell's because of the strength of the simulator labs. Even though I purchased the hardware and own 3 cisco routers, 2 switches, and a wireless router, I found the simulator labs to be more helpful and test oriented. . . . . . the hands on is critical to understanding Cisco
