This Siemens 48DA18AA4 bimetal overload relay handles 25 amps of current and compensates for ambient temperature to avoid unintentional power shutdown. Its normally closed (NC) auxiliary contact handles 5 amps at either 600 VAC or 300 VDC. The open-type relay prevents restarting while the device remains too hot and has an operating temperature range of -20 to +170 degrees F. Screw-type terminals provide secure connection to wire. This ambient compensated overload relay is Underwriter Laboratories (UL) Listed and Canadian Standards Association (CSA) certified for quality assurance. The overload relay is suitable for use in protecting motors from excessive heat resulting from sustained motor overloads, rapid motor cycling, and stalled rotor conditions.
