I have used this product all spring and summer when mowing the yard and working in the yard/garden. So far, there have been ZERO rocks/pebbles and ZERO twigs inside my work shoes! The functionality of the product has been excellent.

I have average size legs. These run small I could not Velcro or zip them together, Wearing them over my pants.

Worked perfect for my 7 year old. Added peace of mind while out in the woods.

Very poor design does not match up with a lot of other gators. The zipper is basically backwards in my opinion. You have to zip it from the top going down. That's extremely hard to do. Also, the top part of your calf that's the thickest part of your lower leg. So it's very hard to get it on, and I can barely get it on bare legging. Let alone over a pair of pants. Then, you have to turn the whole gator 360° to get the shoestring hook to the front. It's just a poor design.

I came across a rattle snake while clearing a trail, still having a lot more to clear I thought some snake gaiters would be smart. I saw these and they seemed like they would do the trick so I ordered them. So far I have used them 3 times, each use would include 1 hour of riding a mountain bike, 40 minutes hiking, and then 1 hour of bush whacking, rugged stuff, they have done great except today I noticed when I was taking them off the Velcro was coming off on both gaiters at about the same spot, it looks like the stitching to hold it on was too close to the edge of the Velcro and it pulled through, check the photos, I realize they were fairly inexpensive and I am pretty rough on them, so I just used some automotive 2 part urethane to glue it back down, check the last 2 photos, should last until I finish this. I like the wire that wraps under the sole of the boot and the leather latch, I had some snow gaiters I tried, but the strap on those Velcro’ed on and would continually come off while stepping through thick brush, these are waterproof and feel thick enough to protect from a snake bite, so overall I am happy with these, just wish the sewing on the Velcro was better, maybe it was just on my pair? I got these to pick blackberries and blueberries of the summer. Very comfortable, can't wait to use them.

For me simple to put on and light - so I don't "clunk" around in my big rubber boots. I don't know about the snake bite protection because I have not encountered one - nor do I ever want to.
