Primefit R1401G Mini Air Regulator with steel-Protected Gauge, 60-Scfm At 100-Psi, 1/4" Npt

This unit has a very large flow capacity for a small size body. Installed easily on my air compressor. Air/soap tested it under full pressure and found no leaks. The pressure gage is quite small, making it necessary to get very close to read. Overall, it works well and is an excellent product for the price.

This was a replacement gauge for my old Craftsman compressor and works great. Installed easily.

great value for the money and is working fine. one issue - mine didn't have directions on airflow.... so first setup leaked nonstop, but reversing fittings and flow fixed that just great. this regulator is worth a look.

Bought this to replace the original regulator on a 20-year-old Craftsman compressor. I had replaced the starting capacitor and chased down all the leaks. I removed the faulty regulator and capped off the pipe to test air loss. It held 100 pounds for 2 days. Installed the Primefit and set it to 20LBS. It would lose enough for the compressor to kick in every 2 hours. Tested for leaks around the regulator and found none. Set air pressure at zero and it has held pressure for 3 days. I have a cheap 70 dollar compressor in the garage and once filled it holds for weeks with the regulator set. Am I missing something ?

I bought 4 of these in 2018. Was frustrated as some others based on reviews and questions that the units would not regulate below the upstream tank or source pressure, just hissed and released pressure when I turned the valve counterclockwise. On the back of the unit is a small triangle indicating the direction of input flow. Mounting backwards caused my issue, and I suspect the same for others. The gauge can be reversed with a plug to enable mounting flixibility. They work great when properly installed.

Used this to replace the broken regulator on a small compressor. I was uncertain this could work as there was no space to thread the 1/4" male to male NPT pipe to connect to the tank as I could not turn the entire assembly provided out of the package. However I did discover that you can safely remove the top control knob easily by removing the 4 screws holding it in place. Once I did that, assembly of the main valve was easy to the compressor, and I had space to then replace the control knob (4 screws), install the pressure indicator, and put in the output connector. All works perfectly for my application! Thank you!

I bought it and used it for a Mastercraft 8 gallon air compressor. It works perfectly on it with no air leaking at all and with the regulator works well. It is made delicately with fine finishing. No doubt the price is attractive. I would like to remind two things again although I believe that it is well known: Pay attention to the air flow direction, and, pay good attention to the torque applied, not too loose but not too tight to the end either that will kill it.

Replaces very similar regulator on Porter Cable pancake compressor. So far it works great.

The air regulator broke on my air compressor, so I replaced it with this, and it works. I like to keep my output air pressure at 80psi. Dial it up, and you are good. It has a unique pull and lock feature on the winder. It also has a mounting bracket so I could mount this permanently on the wall if I wanted to.
