Reliable Sweet Rice Flour for Everyday Treats
I bought this sweet white rice flour because I needed a gluten free option for mochi and dumplings, and I wanted a starch that would give desserts a soft, chewy feel without graininess. I cook at home a lot and this seemed like a reliable base that could replace traditional glutinous rice starch in several recipes. The product being gluten free, non GMO, vegan, and made in the USA gave me extra confidence to try it. It is a very fine powder, which makes it easy to whisk into doughs and batters. In practice I used it to make mochi and dumplings, mixing with hot water until smooth and then shaping. The dough held together nicely and steamed or fried as expected. I also tried it as a thickener in desserts, and it helped set things up without adding a gritty texture. What stood out was the texture and the way it behaves like a glue in small amounts. The chew and softness in mochi were improved over other rice flours I have tried, and the results stayed consistent across batches. It does not have a strong flavor, so it blends well with sweet fillings and other ingredients. One small note is that because it is high in starch it can clump if not sifted or whisked well, and you may need to adjust water a bit. I keep a small sieve handy and dust surfaces sparingly to avoid sticking. Overall I am very pleased with the results and would rate it five stars.

Perfect for Gravy
Bought this for making Thanksgiving gravy. It was perfectly smooth and delicious! We couldn't tell it wasn't wheat flour at all.

Worked like a charm
Used this to make mochi and it worked great! Tried using regular rice flour and it didn’t work. This is a must have for making mochi due to its glutinous nature. Mixed easily, and is a great product.

Makes a fantastic crepe!
The flour was very good and tasty. The only thing wrong is there is no instructions on the bag for the mix. There is a recipe for a dish that I had no interest in making. I was able to find a basic recipe online. The crepes we made with the flour were delish!

Excellent rice flour
Anthony's Rice Flour is clean, smooth and fine. I mixed it into breading for pan fried chicken and stirred it into biscuit dough and pancake batter using AI recipe suggestions I found online. It's a good value and the quality is very good.

Expiration date?!
This package arrived yesterday which was 12/10/25. I happened to look at the expiration date. Shocked to see that I have 8 days before this expires! Fortunately I am not bothered much by expiration dates. I will use this up quicker than previously planned though.

And now I learn to make mochi!
I am diabetic. I crave sweets. I have started to experiment with mochi. Cold rice has resistant starch. I use allulose and monk fruit for sweetness. Minimal glucose spikes and a great mouth feel. Me happy… And, I know, not pretty… yet…
