Potassium Citrate

We had a dog who had stones and the vet recommended we give him this. He didn’t mind the taste and it worked well. He would urinate often and his coat became real shiny. It was easy for him to eat and it also improved his digestion.

Worked well as long as the cats were willing to eat it in their food. After a couple of months they got tired of it and refused to eat the food that had the powder stirred in. Had to switch but it really worked to stop the pee problems while it lasted.

I bought this for my pup after she had to have surgery for bladder stones. The vet had recommended a high dollar pet food, but I checked the ingredients and asked ChatGPT for a reasonable alternative. When she (the pup) went back for her 1 month checkup, this product got a great review from the vet. He said this is even better overall that the fancy dog food. So I'll keep buying it for her

I have been using this formula for about two years, different brand. My pup is 16 1/2 years old. He’s been on this specific brand for about a month. It maintains his kidney-BUN within range just like the other brand. We’ve been out of town for a few days and I forgot his supplements at home. He vomited and almost went in kidney failure. Back home I made a batch of soft food with this supplement added and he was back to his old self by the second day. This formula is one of the main keys in helping our seniors enjoy a healthy senior-hood. Without it their kidneys are no longer able to filter/function properly.

Very palatable! I have a dog w/ Lyme nephrosis, kidneys damaged by Lyme disease. This is one of the correct types of K to provide. Still working on what amount to give her.

I am extremely disappointed!!! This would be a FANTASTIC product if it wasn’t full of sugar. I am not trying to push my into a diabetic condition, and adding daily sugar into his diet is a sure way of making that happen. It makes me sad because my cat loves the cranberry and needs the potassium, but SUCROSE (in an undisclosed amount) is pure sugar and is toxic for my cat who is fighting cancer. It’s toxic for all cats actually!!!!!!!! And, cats cannot even taste sugar!!! So there is ABSOLUTELY NO REASON FOR SUGAR IN A HEALTH SUPPLEMENT!!!
