Great label maker please read my honest review about this little hand-held label maker
I'm so glad that I purchased this label maker. Let me tell you why? Because everytime I put my winter and summer clothes away I vacuum pack them and put them in the plastic totes and I have to open up all my plastic totes to see what clothes are inside and it drives me crazy. I DON'T want to use a permanent marker to write on the top of the lid. So now I use the label maker to stick it on the lid. If I need the plastic tote for something else to store in, all I have to do is put a new label over the top of it and you can't do that with a permanent marker because then you'll have scripple all over it and plus it looks tacky too. The label makes it more neater than a permanent marker. I even label my tools so no one takes them by mistake. I even put labels on the bottom of my tupperware so when I take my tupperware with food in it to a house party at least I'll know I'll get it back. I even put it on my dvd movies if someone borrows my dvd movies I know I'll get back because my name is on my dvd movies. I even used the label maker to put it on my nephew's lunch box for school so my sister-inlaw doesn't have to write his name in permanent marker. I'm telling you you'll find ways to use this label maker. I even use it when I'm making up a picture poster board for a funeral or a wedding. Plus I'm going to use it when I wrap Christmas gifts on the wrapping paper for the name tags instead of using or buying tags for the wrapping paper. I love this machine it's so darn easy to use. Even an elderly person can use it or for that matter any age. Plus the carridge tapes are very cheap and not that expensive. Thank goodness. Plus I loved it when it came with the sample tape cartridge that was a bonus to me because I didn't want to buy the tape cartridge at first until I made darn sure that the label maker worked to begin with. If it didn't work then I would have to send it back and that's a hassle. But I'm glad it worked in my favor and now I'll be buying more tape cartridges for it. You won't be disappointed go out and order one and plus it's reasonably cheap not like the expensive ones that I saw. The price fit the bill for me since I'm on a little budget and I didn't have to break the bank. So please everyone out there buy this for yourselves and for the kids of any age in your family. I'm going to be ordering more for my teenage niece and my 5 year old nephew so he can make a scrapbook since he likes making and drawing things this will be perfect for him. For my niece she can label all her stuff that she has to arts and crafts and her school stuff as well. I want to personally thank amazon for selling this label maker. I'm your number one customer if I can't find it in the stores or somewhere online I know I can count on amazon because they always have everything on hand when I need it. Plus it's free shipping thanks to the prime membership and that's what I love the free shipping and sometimes no sales tax which is a big plus for everyone in the world including me. Thanks again amazon.

Great Label Maker! I recommend it.
Excellent label maker. Very clear and precise label making that lasts and lasts. (I haven't tried the labels in the sun or the elements though) My biggest con is the 224 mm or .9 or so inches of wasted label tape on each label. I trim that with scissors of course but every time, it seems like a waste and it's a little bit disappointing to have to do that. I'd rather that it would print from the start of the last cut with a letter or two of space and be able to cut closer to the printed part after printing. I'm still - a couple years after buying it - on the first roll of label tape however. I've used it to mark battery capacities and spice bottles thus far. Not a heavy user but definitely satisfied. I've just ordered some "generic" brother tape which is not at all expensive. I'll update this once I have tried it. My machine didn't come with a power adapter and I got an off brand one for about $9.00. If you do this make sure it's a non standard polarity one. The outer sleeve is positive and the hole is negative! Here's a link if I'm allowed to do that: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B075D9R8Y5?ref_=ppx_hzod_title_dt_b_fed_asin_title_0_0 Otherwise, you can search Amazon for a PTH110 power adapter - Still, pay attention to the polarity. You can always put 6 AAA batteries in it for portability. In my opinion that is the second design flaw - using AA batteries or even better, 18650 or larger lithium batteries would give much greater run time. Overall I really recommend this label printer. It's easy to use and get's a five star rating. The flaws or cons I have are just sort of minor preference gripes. The labels are totally solid and easy to apply. You can remove them with your fingernail without leaving behind an adhesive mess.

Love it
I recommend this label printer. A lot of reviewers have complained that the labels are always too long. I'll give a quick breakdown of how to fix that issue, and highlights of the printer. Fixing label length: The basic problem is that there's a gap between the print head, the cutting device, and the slot where the label exits. The machine needs to spit out about an inch of tape to make sure that it clears the cutter, and that you can grab it. You will want to use the MENU button on the printer and scroll to set the "Margin" to "Chain". When you print something in Chain mode, the machine will first eject an inch of tape so you can grab it, then your print with extremely narrow margins, and then prompt you with "FEED OK?". If you want to do more prints in the chain, hit ESC. If you're done printing, hit OK to eject the final print for cutting. You will now need to use scissors to separate the prints in the chain, and trim the edges. Obviously this is a little unintuitive and the machine could use some more friendly options, but this works and is the mode many people are looking for. Overall: Setup only requires 6xAAA batteries or an AC charger (not included). You can then peel off the back of the device and pop in a tape cassette, then your preferred power source. A default label, with black-on-white printing, is included. Printing is fast and relatively simple. The keyboard is a bit gummy, and the font options are a little same-y in my opinion, but for a basic printer it's everything you need. I got a pack of narrow, clear labels for identifying various light switches in my house. I like font 3 in bold for visibility. Once printed, I haven't had a single smudge or problem adhering a label. I even did some labels for spiral-bound cookbooks so I could read the titles on the shelf, and vigorously rubbing the labels to adhere them to the curved surfaces worked perfectly every time. Overall recommended. If the user interface was a bit better, and if the keyboard was a little less gummy, I'd give this unit more love. As is, it seems solid, and with a little help from some scissors it's been doing what I need it to.

Functional and reasonable price
It is easy to use, functional and the quality of the print is exceptional. Its size makes it easy to carry around. In the package it came with film but i do wish it came with more as it ran out after a few uses. Overall, the price is reasonable and is good for when you need to label on-the-go.

Good, basic label printer
I have lots of bins full of parts, fasteners, tools, etc. I wanted a quick, inexpensive way to print labels for them and came up with this. There's not much to say about this printer. It prints clean, legible labels that stick well and can be read from a fair distance away. The user interface is just a bit clunky (does it REALLY need to ask me how many copies I want to print every single time?) but it gets the job done. Batteries seem to last a long time-- I use rechargeables and can get a couple of months of intermittent use out of them. Each tape cartridge will do a fair number of labels. I finally swapped the first one out after printing dozens of labels around my shop. The only time I've had a label come loose is on a bottle of oil. The surface was clean when I stuck the label on but oil dripped down the side of the bottle and dissolved the adhesive. This isn't the label's fault and I don't think any other label maker would have done better. I paid $30 for this label printer when I bought it. It was a bit of an impulse buy-- I could've continued to use a Sharpie to write the contents on the side of each bin-- but I don't regret buying it. It prints labels that are easy to read, has been completely reliable, and didn't cost a fortune.

Get organized!
Arrived quickly. Well packed damage free. I collect die cast vehicles and was looking for a way to label the storage cases I keep them in. I have used a similar Brother brand labeler before at work so I had confidence in the brand. This is a nice little machine that gets the job done. Take a little time to read the directions to get to know the different features. It comes with a roll of laminated tape. The tape surface is shiny and protected unlike a regular paper label that can get dirty. So far I haven't had any issues. The qwerty keyboard makes it easy to use. All in all I am very pleased with this purchase.

Love it!
I think this product is so cool! Easy to use, makes very nice looking labels which seem to stay in place when applied. If you are lazy and not one of those "instruction readers" kind of people, you can just use the thing with the default settings so you do not necessarily need to read about all of the various menu options. However there are a lot of menu options and choices for people who really get in to learning all of the ins-and-outs of the gadgets that they buy. Thinks like setting the Margin to "Narrow" so note waste so much tape every time you print a label, etc. It's so fun to use, you find yourself walking around the house just looking for things to put labels on!! It feels sturdy and very well made, am very happy with this purchase.

Extreme Value, LOVE IT!
Super pleased with this label maker. Works exactly as advertised. As a tournament bass fisherman I have lots and lots of identical plastic boxes filled with similar looking floppy bits of plastic. The label maker has helped me turn 8 square feet of mess into a very neatly organized bait locker. Absurdly easy to use. Runs on 6 AAA batteries. Print quality is crispy and labels look great. Interface is mind bogglingly simple. The border options are largely silly looking and two of the fonts are so similar as to be nearly identical, but that isn't really a problem for my use. As frequently reported in reviews, it does leave a total of about a 3 inch gap on its labels, presumably to ensure you chew through your cartridges more quickly. Which is definitely annoying, since most of my labels are extremely brief ("CHUNKS") I'm probably going to lose out on 10-15 possible labels per cartridge, but not THAT big of a deal. With an estimated 75 labels per $12 cartridge, I'm probably set for the next 3 years with just a $50 total investment.

Brilliant product.
I have earlier used a printer, will not name it, but this one steals the show. Brilliant printing, better than our laser printer. It comes with 45 inches Black on white tape but you need to get 6AAA batteries or a adapter. AAA batteries is a better choice for us Indians. It does wastes an Inch of tape on both sides and u have to trim the label but I don't think it's going to effect any one's bank balance as it has a couple of feet tape roll in a cassette. Different fonts and printing options and very easy to use. My thumbs up for the model.

Exactly what I wanted
I always do a lot of research before I order something. I look at each different item - what they claim to do vs what I want; the different features offered; the technical details; what it comes with; the price; the rating...I take it all into consideration because I'm picky about how I spend my money. But ratings are subjective so I tend to take them with a grain of salt. With this item, I saw people complain of the a few separate issues: 1.) Label Maker draining the batteries too fast; 2.) That the product does not come with batteries; 3.) It does not come with an AC Adapter; 4.) Wasting too much tape despite being set to narrow margins For possible future buyers of this item, I'd like to address those issues: 1.) I have not found this to be a problem. I've had my label maker for 2 months and have used it a lot already. The first set of batteries is still in there. I remember to turn it off after each use. 2.) There are very few products that come with batteries. If you know you're buying something that requires batteries, make sure you have some on hand for when it arrives. 3.) The product description from the manufacturer does state that the AC Adapter is sold separately. Don't expect it to come with one. 4.) Yes, even set to narrow margins, the tape spits out approximately an inch at the beginning, before the label actually prints. But only at the beginning. In order to cut down on waste, I will often type in more than one label (with 3 spaces between each) and print them all at once instead of separately. I then cut them by hand. Works fine. I got exactly what I was expecting when I received this, and I'm extremely happy with my purchase. Had I spent more money I could probably have gotten one with more options, less waste, an AC Adapter. But for the amount of money I spent on this, I have zero complaints.
