What's the quality of the switches? I've had Logitech mice fail due to bad click switches. Does this mouse suffer from similar problems?

They seem fine for the 6 months I've had it. It really depends on your usage. The overall quality and feel are great. The only mouse switches I ever wore out was in 2000-2001 from playing Diablo 2 for a year.

does this have a magnetic base?

Until you asked this question I had no idea, but after checking it does indeed have a magnetic base. It's not strong enough to hold the mouse up on a fridge door, but for slight inclines it should work great.

Can you tunr off rgb leds?
