Very good Geli Plate

I've watched a ton of videos and seen online paper crafting galleries full of projects created with gel prints. I really wanted one, so I got this and found it so addicting! I use mine with mostly acrylic paints and a brayer...I sometimes put stencils on top of the painted press and run another color of paint over it before taking a print with paper from it. One nice thing is that the press cleans up pretty easy with water and a wet cloth. A gel press, by nature, has a bit of cling to it. So this means a lot of the time, there is a little paint residue left on the press after cleaning. I don't spend the time to clean it off. It doesn't hurt the press and sometimes makes more interesting prints the next time I decide to use it. Making gel prints is so fun and not hard to learn, and this tool makes crafting so easy and accessible. I recommend the press and it is still going strong after about 2 years of use. I find the easiest way to store it after cleaning is to put it back into the thick plastic packaging it came in. It fits nicely into a drawer, on a book shelf, or anywhere else really because it is flat.

I’ve wanted a gelli plate for a long time, and I’m glad I finally tried one BUT it definitely takes some practice to get the hang of. The Pros are: 8x10 size is great for larger art projects, it’s easy to clean after use, there’s so many possibilities on what you can create once you get comfortable with it, it is durable and if taken care of will last a long time. Cons: Not very beginner-friendly at first and it’s a bit pricey. I’ve been experimenting with image transfers, and that’s been the biggest challenge so far. It’s not something to perfect right away, but if you enjoy art and don’t mind practicing, it can be really fun to work with. Overall, I’d recommend it for those willing to put in a little time to learn.

Awesome gel plate! It’s my first one so I have nothing else to compare it to, but it worked great. Did my first ever gel print when I got it and it went perfect. I used charcoal and acrylic paint. A great size too :)

I ordered this Gell plate by accident, trying to order a "Gelli plate" brand name. It feels the same as my brand name Gelli plate, and creates, surprisingly just as well. It was an awesome value for the money! I will buy more of these products. Also, I did see that some people had bubbles in their plate, I purchased a brand name Gelli palate and it had the same bubbles thing, use the plate, the bubbles are surface only and disappear with a little pressure. I was able to use and enjoy with the same ease. I recommend this product to anyone who has never printed and is trying to save a few dollars. They literally are so similar, once out of the container you will not be able to tell them apart. I am very happy with my product. If you look at my prints, you can't tell the difference between the two plates that I used. I also tried both Artists Loft acrylics (very inexpensive) with Golden Open Acrylics (extremely expensive), both worked very similar. I will use the less expensive ones. I do use a good sturdy Bristol paper that can be bought in bulk, that is less expensive than "art" store paper. Have fun!

Ha la Gel press , ce que rêve d'avoir toutes les scrapeuses , je l'adore , un peu cher c'est un budget qui fais souvent un peu peur au départ , Demander là en cadeau lol , moi je ne m'en lasse pas et il me tarder de l'avoir, on fais de très joli fonds une fois qu'on là apprivoisé , aller j'économise et je m'en rachèterai une plus petite pour faire du 10 x15 . Super outil de travail

Türkiyede satışı olmadığı için mecburen yurt dışından almak zorunda olmak fiyat açısından bir dezavantaj. Fakat ürün o kadar keyifli ki bunu göz ardı edebiliyorsunuz. Her türlü akrilik boya ile kullanılabiliyor. Linol baskı merdaneleri ile harika işler çıkıyor. Boyut A4 olsa daha iyi olurdu ama bu da yeterli bir boyut. Tavsiye ederim.

Most fun I had in a long while. The learning curve isn’t steep and the possibilities are endless. You can pull out a print…and lo! And behold ! You have a stunning piece that’s uniquely you. I use copier paper, craft paint and everything else I can lay my hands on. Bubble wrap, textured rollers, quaint perfume bottles which have vintage patterns on the glass, take out dinner packages, even my dish washing scrubs. But be on your guard, fun as these maybe, the squishy squash thing is highly addictive.
