🎧 As a tech enthusiast always on the lookout for gadgets that simplify life, I was intrigued by the UGREEN Bluetooth Transmitter Receiver. This little device promised to breathe new life into my old audio equipment, and for the most part, it delivered. The versatility of this adapter is its standout feature. Whether I wanted to use my wireless headphones with my old TV or stream music from my phone to my car's aux input, this 2-in-1 device had me covered. The ease of switching between transmitter (TX) and receiver (RX) modes is a real winner. 👍 Bluetooth 5.0 technology ensures a stable connection, and I was pleasantly surprised by the audio quality in most scenarios. The dual connection feature is handy, allowing me to connect two devices simultaneously - perfect for sharing audio with a friend during long flights. Battery life is decent, though I found it fell a bit short of the advertised 8 hours in TX mode. Still, the USB-C charging is convenient, and it charges up quickly. 🔋 Setup is a breeze - just plug it in, hold the button, and you're good to go. The 10m range worked well in open spaces, though walls and obstacles did impact connectivity as expected. However, it's not all smooth sailing. I noticed occasional latency issues, particularly when watching videos. While not a deal-breaker, it can be noticeable in dialogue-heavy scenes. The sound quality, while generally good, can sometimes lack depth compared to native Bluetooth connections. I bought three of this type of product recently, this being at the mid price point of the three. See the photo. I liked that it has the 3.5mm jack built in making it the least fiddly of the three products. The soomfon for example requires two cables, power and audio output, this, if it is already charged, requires no external cables. Although smaller it felt robust and better made than the cheaper unbranded product. Output was at a fixed volume level that level being the same as the Soomfon at it's maximum and the same as the unbranded product which also has a fixed output level. The Soomfon's volume control only turns the output down from what is otherwise the same output level as the other two. I'm really not sure what the point of that control is. However, like the Soomfon this u-green is quiet in between tracks and quiet in quiet passages of music. Pairing was straightforward. Each of the three uses a different encoding to receive data from your source (phone usually I guess), but, apart from the noise issue with the cheapest of the three they all sounded pretty much the same to me. Perhaps the difference will become apparent over time or with more demanding, say, classical, material. Overall, of the three I would buy another of these if I needed another of this product type.

Brilliant 🤩 really Brilliant, this makes such a difference to watching tv especially if you watch it in the bedroom or you stay up later than your other half, it just plugs straight into your headphone jack of your tv, quickly sets up and away you go, transforms your nine Bluetooth tv to Bluetooth tv without splashing out loads of money 💰, I used it on holiday and it worked great, ( saves on arguments about having the volume up to loud when your partner is asleep in the other room too) 5 out of 5 , actually I’d give it 10 out of 5 if it was possible. Small enough to fit in any overnight bag, 💼 suitcase or pocket, give it a try I did,

Item was used to connect an iPOD classic to my car. It connected easily enough to the car, but kept disconnecting every 15-20 secs and needed to be manually reattached. May work better in a stationary situation but unsuitable for use in other circumstances. Sound quality was average.

Works but the sound quality is poor. Just bought this and picked it up today, connected it to my laptop to test it and straight away noticed the sound quality was poor with no bass. Will do for watching a films on a flight but not if you’re after something to use for outputting a decent audio

I only write reviews of products I either dislike (1 star) or really rate (5 stars), this of course falls into the later. Now this review is if your car audio unit or similar has no aux in. I had updated to a really good Sony car audio in my Saab and it has Bluetooth and everything but no aux in (I say that but there might be an aux in connection at the rear of audio unit) but was not going to pull it out again. Learn from my errors as instructions are not always clear. On receiving this unit plug it into a recharging USB socket at home as I now realise it has an internal battery and it will not connect to Bluetooth without being fully charged!!! Once charged put it in Transmitter mode TX and connect to your car audio system or similar. I did not explain the reason I bought this as I have a Pure Car Digital Radio unit that I bought new for about £160 but that was probably some time ago. I did not want to not use this as digital radio on the go in my car would be a nice plus. Only trouble is that the Pure has an aux out. I tried loads of connectors even AUX to USB as thought that might work into my audio unit, it did not. This product though was my last hope but would it turn a digital radio signal from a USB to Bluetooth? Well would you believe it that it works perfectly as far as I am concerned but just make sure you have volume in your audio unit turned down low to start with. To keep this working perfectly make sure this product is connected to a powered USB in your car as has to remain charged or charging when in use. Hope this helps someone. Enjoy.

Great little purchase. Got for my British Airways flight to America. Plug in, and ta da a few button presses and I can listen to the films via my Apple AirPods. Still using it a year later and still works well (I just keep it in my luggage now so I don’t forget it).

I’m sorry to say that I am disappointed with the sound quality provided by the transmission mode of this product. I like to listen to audio dramas on headphones and was attracted to this by the prospect of being able to use my Bluetooth compatible headphones from my CD player to listen, while also not being restricted by a connected cable. Sadly the poorer difference in audio quality in going from wired to wireless with this device was immediately apparent, with the sound becoming thiner and loosing some of both deeper and highest frequencies. I hate giving a negative review, but I honestly will not be using this and have gone back to the wired way of enjoying my audio. Ah well…

I have a stereo that does not have bluetooth but does have a headphone jack. When I work at home, I'd like to have the music on between meetings, but my spouse complains that the music is too loud. (How she can hear my music on volume level 2 on the other side of the house but can't hear the tv unless it's above 15 when she's right in front of it, is just beyond me. But I digress.) The stereo is behind me quite a bit, so getting a long cord for a headphone is not a good idea. I picked this one out because it was on sale and had good reviews. I'm using it for a single earbud. (need to keep the other ear open for calls and anything else, since I can't hear when both of them are in). This was a bit tricky as it just would not connect to this earbud or a number of similar ones I have. It wasn't until I read another review that I got it to work. I'm not sure which was the trick, because I did both of the following at the same time: plug it in to reset it and do this is a space where there are no other bluetooth devices around. Once I recharged it and had it plugged in and away from anything else electronic, the earbud paired up pretty quickly. It must have been confused by the other earphones, my phone, my laptop, my printer or Bob knows what else in my office that also has Bluetooth. This thing is going to be a lifesaver, as I work so much better with music at a volume that I can actually hear and not have to wonder whether or not it's annoying the woman I love. Thank you!!!

Lo uso para escuchar la música del móvil en el coche, conectado siempre al cargador del coche y a la entrada RCA. Se enciende automáticamente cuando arranco el coche sin ningún problema, y en un segundo me avisa de que el teléfono se ha conectado por bluetooth. La música se escucha bien y nunca se me ha interrumpido la conexión al móvil.

Seamless and easy to connect with any audio device which doesn't have a Bluetooth connection. There is no lag and output seems to be good enough. Its small and compact and the battery life is also fair enough.

Mini hoparlörü de monitörün arkasına yerleştirdik. Çok basit ve ekonomik olarak, boşta duran -ama iyi- bir monitörden ikinci bir televizyonumuz olmuş oldu :) Herkese önerebilirim, adaptörün şarjı oldukça uzun süre gidiyor, USB-C girişli kablosu var, hemen de şarj oluyor. Ben çok memnunum.

Pairing tip: (was required for pairing my Airpods Pro 1): after turning on the device (blue light), do a short double press to get device into pairing mode (blue-red flashing light). Overall; some trouble with pairing at first and manual was not very clear. good quality and price. I was very happy with the item when I used it for the in-flight entertainment system on an airplane.
