Product Description ------------------- The 3M Aqua-Pure Whole House Replacement Water Filter Drop-in Cartridge AP817 has soft neoprene kets on both top and bottom that assist in the prevention of unfiltered downstream water. Its flow rate is 10 gallons per minute. This is a filter cartridge for a whole house water filter system, which helps protect pipes and appliances and provides great tasting drinking water from anywhere in the home. From the Manufacturer --------------------- The Aqua-Pure® AP817 Water Filter Cartridge helps reduce chlorine taste and odor as well as particulate and rust, providing clearer, more appealing water throughout the whole house. The carbon filter cartridge provides a high flow for up to six months before replacement. The cartridge is manufactured by 3M Purification Inc., formerly CUNO Incorporated. It uses granular activated-carbon media to reduce chlorine taste and odor, has a 25-micron filtration rating for particulate reduction, and a flow rate of 10 gallons/38 liters per minute. The cartridge operates at temperatures from 40-100°F/4.4-37.8°C. It is for use with the following Aqua-Pure Systems: AP801, AP801-C, AP801T-C, AP801-1.5-C. The cartridge should be replaced every six months, or sooner if a noticeable reduction in flow rate occurs.
