Strong as an ox.
I love this grinder. Its a bit on the heavy side in compairison to some of dewalts other models, but it has so much torque. I use it in my metal fabrication business and put it through hell with 0 issues. Its been dropped, tossed in a tool bag, thrown in my truck, and used for hours at a time and it just never quits. After a while it will get a bit warm, but never takes long to cool back off. The pads are easy to swap out. The safety guard is easy to swivel around where you need it, and the handle is adjustable. I also like the hanger on it when I'm working off a ladder. If your looking for a professional grade grinder, this is the one.

Great product, I just wish it wasn't open box.
DeWalt on Amazon.ca frequently sends you open box products. I've ordered five products for them and all five had clearly been used before. I really needed this item so I figured "whatever" and just kept it. In terms of safety this is one of the best, which is important because this is potentially the most dangerous tool in your shop if used incorrectly. Please never use those chainsaw tooth blades on these guys. Starts at a nice speed, slows quickly, and has the locking failsafe. This is the best of its kind, but the seller on here could be better.
