Li-Ion Electric Fillet Knife

I love this knife. I clean quite a few fish with it any where from bluegill to king salmon. I let a buddy borrow it on a Canada trip and he said it out performed his buddies buba. I can tell the blades are getting duller but I have easily cleaned over 400 fish with it so that is to be expected. I’ve heard good things about rapala but for the price I will definitely get another if and when mine dies.

works great......blades dulled a little too quick but Rapala blades fit for replacements

This filet knife is so good! I was a little hesitant about a cordless knife, and the battery life. This knife lasts a very long time! It cuts through all kinds of fish with east. 10/10 recommend for your outdoorsman!

Bought this to use for filleting catfish. Have not had the opportunity to do that yet. Did use it on Chinook Salmon and it worked very well. Curious to see how well the battery holds up? The place we go has a fish cleaning station with 110 power. Last year the power plugs did not work so going with the battery operated. Stay tuned.

After owning this thing for almost a year and a half I have to say I’m impressed little bulky but battery life is awesome blades cut awesome and hold up pretty good(about 150-200 fish done and still going strong) and it’s not slow it gets the job done quick the cordless option is top notch take it anywhere you want i see a lot of people complaining about the trigger being hard to push but mine is very easy to push and not once had it let me down for the price you can’t beat it

I've used several different electric filet knives and this is by far the best one. It glides perfectly along the bone and skin leaving you with the perfect filet. Others I would have to be careful so I didn't cut through the bone this one I have no worries of doing that which is a good thing. So 5 stars by far.

It’s terrible! The trigger sticks and doesn’t operate! . I just purchased it at the end of June and I can’t return it for a refund and Old timer discontinued it so they won’t replace it. Several days emailing back and forth with no resolution. Terrible customer service with both companies.

I LOVE IT! Great for the price. I do not fish all the time and this is GREAT for someone that goes once in a blue moon.

I have been using an old (I mean 1970’s old) corded kitchen electric knife to fillet fish over the last few years, which served the purpose of speeding up the filleting process, however not very convenient, so I had been shopping around for a good cordless option in a knife specifically designed for this task. The price of some of the more common name brands had been scaring me away from making a purchase, but after reading reviews and watching some video demonstrations online, I decided to give the Old Timer knife a try, and so far I am very pleased with the purchase. Blades are very sharp, and easy to install and remove. The trigger lock is a nice safety feature. Some have mentioned the handle being a bit large, and I could see this being a bit of an issue for people with smaller hands, but it is the trade off necessary to have a quality rechargeable lithium battery. As for the battery, I have not tested it fully to see exactly how long it would last, but it easily takes care of my daily limit of walleye with ease. From everything I have experienced so far, I would definitely recommend this knife to those who may have been tentative due to higher costs of similar products.

Adorei!! Cortei um salmão inteiro e cru em 5 min. Fantástico!! Ser sem fio é tão funcional foi um achado!! Recomendo!!

The Old Timer Electric Fillet Knife has been a fantastic addition to my fishing gear. The lithium-ion battery provides long-lasting power, and the knife cuts through fish with incredible precision and ease. Whether I’m filleting small panfish or larger catches, it handles the job effortlessly. The ergonomic design makes it comfortable to hold, even during longer cleaning sessions, and the multi-blade setup is super convenient for different types of fish. I also appreciate how quiet and smooth the motor runs compared to other electric knives I’ve used. If you're looking for a reliable, cordless fillet knife that delivers professional results, this one is a winner. Highly recommended for both casual anglers and serious fishermen!
