As far as I know know it works greats.

Just 16 months after purchasing the Surface Studio, it is unusable, and I have to purchase a new computer. The Studio is a beautiful device, but it's unreliable. Do not purchase it unless you have loads of time to spend wiping it and setting it up again, and a reliable back-up to use when the Studio is in the shop. The Studio decline began with an alert about the power chord, then went into an extremely rapid battery drain despite being plugged in. It wasn't the chord -- I tried the chord from my OG Surface, AND purchased a new chord -- it was the computer battery. When this rapid drain happened, I did an emergency wipe and sent the Studio in for repair. This happened three times, and on the third time Microsoft sent a replacement computer. The replacement computer was fine for a few short months (still got the charging alert, so I suspected something was wrong with this battery, too), then the same rapid battery drain happened -- again, despite being plugged in. There is literally nothing you can do but rapidly try to wipe the computer (again). I sent the replacement computer in for repair. After a week of my account showing only "pending" for the service request I spent 45 mins tracking down someone in CS who would actually chat with me. I spent over two more hours with CS going back and forth about which computer I sent in -- the original, which they replaced so I no longer had, or the replacement which they said was no longer under warranty -- despite my account clearly showing that it was. CS said that warranty was "for us, not for you." I couldn't get a straight answer on that one. This is when I screen captured the pages and pages of the chat. Unfortunately I didn't screen capture my account page with the warranty info, and the next day the warranty info had been deleted from my account info. CS returned my computer without touching it. After a few more days of back and forth, they told me I could send it in and for $775 they would service it or replace it if they couldn't fix it -- with (another) refurbished Studio. I'm assuming that is also with no warranty for their work, but can't be certain since they stopped replying to my specific questions via email. And I wasn't mean or rude, I'm assuming they didn't want to continue to respond in writing. I'm very frustrated that Microsoft didn't stand behind their product(s) that clearly and consistently had issues within 14 months of the original purchase, and that instead of honoring the warranty information that they posted to my account, they deleted it. I won't buy another Microsoft device.

I really like the computer. The keyboard is good, the touch pad is amazing and touch screen is extremely responsive. I didn't know how much I would miss the display port of my surface book but I really do miss it... Would be an easy 5 star with the display port so if you don't use thst it's a no brainer and top notch convertable.

Perfect balance of power and style.

I purchased the Microsoft Surface Laptop Studio notebook (14.4" Touchscreen, Intel® Core™ i7, 32GB Memory, 2TB SSD, Platinum) on December 25, 2023, for $2,049.99. The warranty is valid for one year. Please find the attached receipt. My laptop is not charging, although the adapter functions correctly. What steps should I take to resolve this issue? All my work is on this laptop, and it is urgent. I sent this email to support@antoline.com. But it is blocked.

Outstanding build quality, seems bulky but isn't in person. Amazon screen, also seems like it would be fragile, but is built well.

I have several Microsoft Surface Book 2 laptops with both Windows and Linux, and I now am slowly switching to this Laptop Studio for my work. I'm a software developer so need something very powerful, and this machine is able to keep up. I don't love that it only has two USB-C ports, but I also have an older upgraded Power Supply which allows me to connect to a monitor, USB-3, Ethernet, etc. That's a pretty essential upgrade. Other than that, I run all kinds of heavy development utilities on this thing all day long without any major problems, both in Linux and Windows. And it's (relatively) light and modern-looking, so I don't feel embarrassed among all the Apple people.

2026.feb.20 He desarmado la computadora, y a la vez los ventiladores, les he puesto "grasa de litio" en los rotores, se ha desaparecido el ruido con esto. Sin embargo, es muy poco tiempo para que de estos problemas. Mal diseño o malas piezas, de hecho no se consiguen los ventiladores, quise comprar al fabricante chino otros y me dijo que ya no hacían el modelo que tiene, pero que habían otros actuales, los pedí, y luego me escribió que cancelara yo mismo el pedido porque no lo los tenían ni enviaban a México, por eso opté por poner esta grasa. Sigo dejando una sola estrella, esto es mal diseño. Veré si aplicando periódicamente esta grasa, se mantiene. 2026.enr.28 Mi computadora ha venido fallando del ventilador derecho, hace un ruido intenso que no permite trabajar. tengo apenas 1.5 años escasamente con esta computadora y ya tengo problemas, la vieja samsung que tenía tiene casi 10 años y nunca me ha dado un problema. Había puesto 5 estrellas, pero lo bajo a 1, no vuelvo a comprar a Microsoft. 2024.my.03 El precio es lo que me incomoda la vi en más de 110,000 con oferta a 44000, luego a la semana la vi sin oferta (con este mismo proveedor) a 42000, luego a 3 días en 39000 y ahorita está en 40000, me ha costado finalmente 10% más del precio que tiene actualmente en menos de 1 mes, eso me causa cierta molestia, y veo falta de seriedad en este ir y venir del precio de venta. Al principio me pareció encontrarle mejores colores a mi Samsung book del 2016, pero me parece que ha sido configuración finalmente., al cambiar y afinar colores se aprecia muy bien. No trae la letra "ñ" en el teclado. Algo que el proveedor debiera haber considerado si la enviaría a México. útil cuando la quito del soporte y la transporto a otro lado, pero en general trabajo con teclado externo con "ñ". Me ha gustado muchísimo esta computadora a pesar de que no trae ranura para la micro-sd, (que se soluciona con un periférico conectado a un hub). Tiene puntos de mejora, la ranura que falta para la micro sd, y faltó que pensaran que al ser de giro de 360° para simular la tablet, pues es práctico que tenga el interruptor de encendido en la lateral, como las samsung book por ejemplo, y no tener que estar abriendo y cerrando la pantalla para encenderla. que es mi caso, porque la uso como un monitor (abierta 360") y me cuesta algo de trabajo detenerla para que no caiga del soporte, en lo que la enciendo, porque al abrir un poco la pantalla se sale un poco del soporte en la parte superior (no así en la parte inferior), suficiente a veces para que se pueda caer si no se le detiene. pero, la he puesto en un soporte redlemon y realmente quedó genial, estoy muy satisfecho y hasta hoy 2024.may.07 me ha respondido muy bien. Algunas veces pone el mensaje de que "utilice" el cable original de carga, pero funciona bien, no he tenido problemas más que el mensaje, creo puede ser mismo windows el que ocasiona esto. auto-gol para microsoft, si la surface es de la misma marca que windows. En cuestión de rendimiento y velocidad, realmente, emociona tener recursos para hacer cosas productivas. Muy satisfecho con la compra, a pesar del precio alto. Sí, creo que el precio es la mayor desventaja. Lo demás bien. Hay cosas que no me gustan del windows 11, pero eso es "harina de otro costal"

The good: touch screen is really nice for digital art and writing on screen, swapping between a laptop and tablet is super convenient, very portable The bad: extremely high cost for what you are getting, issues with static electricity that will affect the longevity of this product, battery life could be better More information about the static electricity: I bought this laptop about 6 months ago, and immediately experienced an issue with static charge. At first it didn't seem like a big deal, but some of the zaps were actually quite strong, which doesn't bode well for electronics. I contacted Microsoft about this and they said they would send me a replacement charger to see if that fixed it. The replacement charger they sent didn't work. So I sent that one back and they sent another - same thing. Microsoft thinks there is something wrong with the charging port on the computer, but that doesn't explain why the first charger I have works fine and also the ones they sent me clearly had faulty wiring (like they would charge the computer but if the cord was bent it would stop). That's when I learned that Microsoft's warranty sends out refurbished products as replacements. Given my luck with them sending me two different faulty chargers, I don't trust them to replace my laptop with one that doesn't have something else wrong with it besides the static. As such, I've decided to just stick with my original one and hope for the best. Not sure if I will be buying one of these again, it has some very cool and unique features but I can't say I'm fully satisfied for the amount of money I paid.
