My son gets a Carhartt coat every year, and wanted the black one instead of tan this year. This coat was exactly what he wanted! Warm, fits well, and looks great! It’s already held up to sledding, school, and working out in the garage.

Honestly, this is the best jacket for boys that are tough on their clothes. It’s warm, durable, highly stain resistant and will be a hand me down for brothers or sisters. Just a great all-around jacket that will stand the test of time. Great value for the money has nice pockets. My son is 43 inches tall and about 47 pounds and it is slightly big. We got a small which should be good for him for a couple years.

My son is 6, but he’s tall for his age, so I got him the size 7/8, so it’ll last him a few years! He wanted one so bad, so i bought him one for Christmas. It was totally cheaper than under armor, and quite frankly the quality far surpasses the more expensive coats. This coat isn’t too thick, but it’s thick enough to be rugged and durable! My kid always burns through coats, but not this time! It fits him a tad baggy, but that’s how i intended it to fit him. Not only did i want him to get more than one season out of it, i wanted him to be able to layer up and still be able to move! It washed nicely, I just line dried it, and then tumble dried it for 10 mins. He loves it, and it keeps him comfortable and warm in this snow we have! He even wore it sled riding with no issue! It kept him nice and warm!

This jacket came quickly and my son loved it. It has soft material and layers to keep your child warm. It fit him perfectly and very durable. It keeps him from getting soaked put in the rain. It has a great price and this jacket last him a couple years. The style was amazing and very clean look.

There’s a reason this product has 4.9 stars! Extremely durable, heavy duty coat. Perfect for Midwest falls and winters. It has a flannel lining that keeps my 4 year old very warm. We got size 5 and the fit is perfect- he’ll be able to wear this for the next 2 winters. He loves how there’s a pocket in the inside too. There’s also a white “name tag” in the inside that allows you to write your child’s name in case it gets lost at school. Yes, it’s a pricey jacket but the value is great for the quality you’re getting. The weight of this jacket isn’t extremely heavy- just the right amount to keep them warm without weighing your kid down. It’s also not very stiff so our kid can still run around and be his normal feral self without it restricting him. 10/10 project and will 100% purchase all of our future winter jackets from this company!

The jacket fits really well but it does come up a bit big. The sizing is wrong on Amazon so check the carhartt website. The inside of the jacket feels like it will start Pilling over time but I’m not sure if it will yet. Overall a good and durable jacket.
