Maelstrom 24/30/60 Can Soft Cooler Bag, Double Deck Portable Ice Chest

The best option for our cross-country road trip!! 6 days with our dog, we needed a cooler that was big enough for beverages, lunch and snacks, and also allowed space for our dog’s treats, but that also fit into our packed car. This cooler is perfect! We fit several beverages, small ice packs, and food in the main compartment, put our dog’s food and snacks in the separate top compartment and had additional pockets for snack baggies and utensils. The soft shell is durable and easily cleaned and the carrying strap and handle allowed for easy carrying to our picnic tables and hotel rooms at the end of the day. Beverages stayed cold and the cooler stayed dry.

Great insulated soft-sided cooler bag. Well made, nicely stitched. The handles are very sturdy webbing and the carry handle makes holding the bag much easier and does not hurt your hands. It is a bit padded which is very helpful. The detachable shoulder strap is very nice, well made, padded and non-slip. The inside of the bag is very well made, no sewn seams so they won't leak. I am very appreciative of the exterior fabric as it is water resistant and easily wipeable for spills. M husband is an outdoor nature and landscape photographer so we take off most days and head out for photo shoots. I purchased this bag so we can carry lunches with us. It's perfect. I pack two Bento boxes and some other containers with fruits and veggies and still have room to stash soft drinks. The upper level is great for keeping flatter items. I use a 1 Liter soda bottle filled with frozen water as my ice pack instead of gel packs. I don't trust them when it comes to long hours of holding foods at keeping fresh temperatures. It works perfectly. What is really nice is when the bag is not in use I can collapse it down and it takes up little room for storage whereas a hard-sided cooler takes up a lot of room. The bungie cord ties down and holders are great and the little added hanging from a carabiner bottle opener is a plus if you are of need of one. I am very happy with this bag and I am sure you will be too. I highly recommend this bag if you are in need of such a thing. I'm surprised at the quality for the price.

We bought this collapsible cooler to take with us to a trip in Nova Scotia and we were surprised at how well it worked. We only had two freezer packs with us but they usually stayed frozen all day long even in pretty warm weather. It's easily packed in a suitcase or a backpack and keeps things cold for a very long time.

I purchased this for a cross country road trip with 2 kids and a baby. I didn't plan on putting a lot of food in here. I was just looking for something to hold the perishable snacks and baby food pouches. At one point i had a 12 pack of those little water bottles, 2 lunchables, a couple apples, and 2 backs of those snack pickles in the main compartment. I think I fit like 15 baby food pouches in the top compartment. It fit exactly what I needed. The quality was really good considering it was getting kicked the entire 7 day trip by my kids and it still looks new. The foldability is great too because I just leave it in the back of my car now for long shopping trips.

From the moment I opened the box my initial impression made me very happy about this purchase. It is well built and I love the features it has. It has a larger compact and also offers other pockets designed to keep items cold without being in the main compartment where they would get wet. Very happy with ghe construction.

It works well enough, but is rather floppy, so packing it is a bit of a pain. I also thought it was a little bigger than it is. The capacity sounds great until you realize the "60 cans" means ONLY the cans, no ice/ice packs/etc. And it was made specifically to work with those object dimensions. Which is fine, but it is awkward with some of the containers that I use for my food. I try to pack for a 10 hour work day, so I need to carry breakfast, lunch, drinks, and snacks so I don't need to live out of vending machines or scavenging people's candy dishes at their desks. I still end up having a separate thing to carry some of that extra stuff. It looks nice enough and seems sturdy enough in construction. Just...smaller than I was hoping for. I'll make it work, I guess, since I've used it for about a week. Nothing that wrong about it to return it.

I just used it for the first time this last weekend. I only put in a small ice pack and my items stayed nice and cold all day. Love that it folds flat for storage. The zippers were hard to pull/stiff the first few times but are working betters with use. The size was exactly what I needed. Love the top foil pocket. I used it to keep a thermos with hot water inside and it fit with no problem and helped keep the water hot. Also like that it has the front pocket. Perfect for napkins and utensils. I didn't use loose ice so can't say how leakproof it is, but with the condensation from the drinks and ice pack, there was no sign of leakage. Super light weight and glad it has the shoulder strap. My old cooler didn't and that made it harder to lug around.

This cooler is well designed and just the right size for our family of 4. I love that it has elastic compartments for utensils, an attached bottle opener, different pockets and another storage on top. It’s exactly what we wanted
