I am new to pellet smoking, but I absolutely love these. Once I started using the pellet smoker, I knew I was going to need to have a way to keep my pellets dry when they weren't in use. I looked at several options and this is definitely not the cheapest one, but it works so well. Durable hard plastic. The metal rack helps separate the dust from the pallets. The little scoop is a great and handy addition. Also, it perfectly fits a 20 lb bag of pellets, even with the scoop, which I leave inside, at the top. I have nothing bad to say about these. As I continue to grow out my pellet collection, every time I get a new flavor of pellet, I always buy another one of these buckets to go with it. I like the fact that there's a spot on the front which is perfect for a sticker or label. I always keep my buckets labeled and organized.

This product works as designed albeit a bit expensive. I do like the screen insert which helps filter out the dust which I do not like in my smoker. I have a competing product which is a well known brand but its quality cannot match this one. The Oklahoma Joes went thru a major thunderstorm and my pellets were nice and dry. The competing brand one didn't and I lost almost 20 lbs of pellets. To me, the Oklahoma Joes is a life line, I do not have the time to rig up my own. I recommend this product to anyone who wants this type of tool in their Smoker Arsenal. You wont regret it. Disregarding the price i had no hesitation in giving it 5 stars Have fun Glenn

this makes a really good live bait bucket. Just add an aeration pump
