I decided to get this mic instead of the more popular Rode alternative as I wasn't sure if I'd get on with it for vlogging so didn't want to spend the earth.I'm very impressed with the performance though. With the wind muff in place it filters out all but the strongest gusts and maintains a good clear audio signal at all times.The distance it picks up detail is quite amazing too.Definitely recommended if you're looking for a cheap alternative to a Rode mic that gives you good performance and you won't need to worry about getting the audio exactly how you want it.Top marks!

Well built and has improved sound on video in windy conditions.

Used the mic during filming on a canon camera with the microphone attached, no sound recorded, only muffled patchy sound and crackling. The camera produced sound afterwards without the microphone so I can confirm the product was at fault. Unfortunately my film failed ( picture , no sound) and my project ruined. Wouldn’t recommend this item.

Tried this on a Canon M3 using the provided TRS cable and with the camera set to maximum audio recording. Testing the mic at an arm's length away I get nothing, just buzzing noise. At 2 inches away I get a very faint audio and still a ton of noise. This occurs in both Auto and Manual audio setups.Further, the box states that there should be "two picks" in the box and whos different shapes. Mine had just one and it feels like cheap flimsy plastic that will eventually break while pushing the mic into its jaw.Load of rubbish, going straight back for a refund. Not recommended, even to someone looking for a very cheap mic because it is worse than the in-built mic of my M3 by huge margin.

Used with canon 6D mk2 to video wedding ceremony. Needed something better than onboard mic and as unlikely to use much again something cheap. This worked well and captured audio clearly.Comes with accessories and adaptors
