Works well with Raspberry pi 3b
This has proven to be an excellent choice to power a Raspberry Pi 3b project. I built it inside an enclosure with a 7" LCD screen and this adapter powers both the Pi and the screen using PoE. The application running on my pi is not CPU intensive so I can't comment on how far the power delivery can be stretched, but it has been going for months now without a failure. This was easy to integrate and an inexpensive alternative to the official rPi3b PoE hats that I've seen.

Plug and play
This adapter is perfect for a device that does not support POE power out of the box. This adapter is connected to a TPLINK travel router that I am using for all of my alexa IoT devices as those aren't really the best when ut comes to network security. The POE port that the device is using is on a separate Vlan on my switch and it has no issues providing network data as well as power over the Ethernet cable. All in all, works as described.

Not bad for the price
Order two of these; both provided +5V but one wouldn't pass traffic. Problem moved with the power splitter, so I initiated an exchange with Amazon. Replacement works fine. A minor nit is that these things claim to be 802.3af compliant, but they don't support GigE. This suggests that they may only support Alternative B. I suppose I could ask the switch what they negotiated, but I'm less than motivated at the moment.

Great for FireStick 4K
Got this to use with a FireStick 4K and it works great. One ethernet line from my PoE switch to this, and then this plugs into the ethernet adapter on the FireStick, providing power and data to the adapter and FireStick. About a clean a set-up as you're gonna get.

Works good but not with a Ubiquity injector
Its works fine - I originally tried to use a Ubiquity injector with this. However it didn't work. I thought the problem was this but it was the fact that the Ubiquity injector isn't compatible with this device.

Works great, gigabit, plug it into any 802.113af switch for power source
Works great for powering an Intel W5 stick computer from an 802.113af (PoE+) switch Make sure your power source (switch/router) supports PoE+, this will not magically supply power from any old Ethernet switch or router. I use a Ubiquiti EdgeSwitch 24 250W It would be nice if the power cord was an adjustable length or a little longer since I need to connect the Ethernet port to a USB Ethernet dongle causing the power and Ethernet wires to be two different lengths, looking a little clunky, but it’s nit fair to expect the vendor to anticipate this usage. Regardless, it’s just a minor aesthetic issue. It is 100% functional This should power just about any microusb powered device just fine- I’ve used it on a Canary and the Intel W5 so far. This is a true gigabit speed dongle, many others are only 10/100

good product just works
bought this to replace the one from Aliexpress, about the 2X of the price, order from Aliexpress will take too long, so far so good.

Powers USB device from PoE network cable
If you have an existing Power over Ethernet (PoE) network, this device lets you connect USB-powered devices to it without needing a separate power supply. I used it to add a wireless access point (WAP) to my network in a location that didn't have mains power available for a conventional USB power supply for the WAP. No configuration needed, works straight out of the packet. Quality is o.k. but nothing special. No idea how durable it is, has only been in use for about a month. No problems so far.
