Cowboy Magic Detangler & Shine 4 oz

First of all super fast shipping thank you very much to the seller. I usually use this on my horse, but I have a husky who kept getting matted. She used to love being brushed , and unfortunately, a couple of times I had really pulled to the point where she yelped, and I cried myself. First, we changed the brush and then I researched what would work, and I couldn’t believe it. I totally forgot about this product not even thinking it could be used on a horse never mind my own hair. This is a godsend she enjoys, getting brushed again. She lays down like she was before! There’s nothing like cowboy magic. I have tried the brand that begins with an A ends in E however there’s nothing like cowboy magic. You need a very small amount it makes the fur truly soft and it gets the knots out. Not to mention you can use this on your own human hair is it pricey ,yes but it does a lot. It’s a very versatile product.

This detangler has saved me SO much time! This past winter has been especially messy in my neck of the woods, what with the unusual amount of snow. So of course, that means a bit of mud in the pasture. My little Irish Cob and Clydesdale cross have thick manes and tails. This serum has really made detangling a breeze. I’m able to get knots out with minimal breakage. When I was finished, their manes and tails were so soft and shiny. I can’t complain about the smell either. :) I will also add that from what I’ve used so far, a little bit seems to go a long way. So I think this detangler is reasonably priced. I had to put them in stalls more than usual because the ice took forever to go away. When they were turned out again, they were pretty stoked and did their fair share of rolling and what not. I think with a spray detangler (which costs more), I would have gone through more than the equivalent amount of Cowboy Magic I used. I wish I would have captured a before picture. There was still a bit of wavyness in part of my cob’s mane after I untangled a small section, but that’s to be expected. Anyway, no complaints at all and highly recommended to my fellow equestrians!

This was recommended to me for my child's hair. She is autistic and hates being touched. Her hair gets horribly knotted. She's also got some curl to her hair. This stuff got the knots right out! I used a small amount and I can easily comb the knots out. Has a very light scent and works amazing! Left her hair very soft too.

This is a difficult review. First thing to know is this stuff is AMAZING! I groom my Bernedoodle at home, and this product really does remove even the most stubborn mats. You just put a little on your hands and the mat and gently continue to pull it apart and it’s gone. Really nice not to have to cut out big chunks of their fur or use the razor tool, which can be dangerous. Now the bad news. I had the smaller squeeze tube first, and then I ordered the large bottle because it was more cost-effective. The bottle came with a piece of tape across the top, which is a flip up top. It is not well designed at all, and the first time I opened the bottle the snapped off. I tried to gather up all the product that spilled onto the floor. And then the next time I used it, it fell over after I put it in the cabinet and made a big mess. Perhaps the inferior cap is a money, saving move, but it was frustrating enough for me that I am very reluctant to purchase the product again. Be prepared to transfer it to a different container.

I purchased this mainly as a detangler for dog grooming after hearing it raved about on groomer blogs & forums. Now that I've tried it I have to say I'm very pleased. This is a concentrated conditoner so you only need a tiny bit, say a nickel sized amount in your palm, smoothed between your hands, then applied to dog after bathing but before brush-out. Works like a charm to prevent static build up and tangles. SInce it's concentrated, you can also dilute it with water in a spray bottle, which I do about half the time, depending on the dog's coat. My first priority was to use this to treat mats in thick double coated breeds of dogs that I needed to brush out. This really gets the mats out without hurting the dog if they're workable, and coats the hairs to keep them seperate & tangle free afterward. My clients have noticed as well. They come in and ask what I have done differently after the last groom because their dog feels so silky and soft! When they ask why the usual friction areas are brushable now when they weren't previously, I tell them it's a method I've discovered over the years (wink-wink, lol) that works like a charm. Now I don't know how I would work without this detangler - I'm hooked! I considered buying "the stuff" but read that it can cause a stucky build up over time if you use it too much so I decided to try this instead. SO glad I did. I tell my coworkers that its just a homeade formula so they can't buy this and get mats out as fast as I can! I know, it makes me a horrible person, but it's not like they share trade secrets with me or anything! This is definately a staple in my tack box from now on. And did I mention this is allergy & dermatologist tested for humans as well? I have started using this on my own fine, tangled, broken hair as well and noticed improvements. After use my hair is silky, shiny & manageable like models in hair commercials when before the slightest shift in wind would reduce my hair to broken, frizzy tangles. Read the other reviews on amazon and see for yourself. This is a miracle product, developed for horses, but has many safe applications.

If you have fried hair or children who hate having their hair brushed due to all the tangles--keep reading! I had highlights put in my hair about 6 months ago, and it has been horribly fried ever since. The knots and tangles started about 2 inches from my scalp and continued pretty much the length of my hair. I have never had such fried hair in all my life. I have no idea what my stylist did, as my hair was healthy before I went in. Since then I have used all kinds of shampoos, conditioners and leave in hair protectors (Joico/K-Pak, It's a 10, Biosilk, Pantene, Ion silk drops even straight coconut oil--which out of all these products listed, helped the most--but it felt gross to leave it for 24 hours) in an attempt to re-moisturize my hair--with less than impressive results. Basically my hair went from looking like cheap extensions that were always tangled to feeling and looking like hay. I was close to tears, and every morning when I brushed my hair, I dreaded hearing that sound of the hairbrush ripping through knots and breaking my hair. I was prepared to pay any amount of money to get my hair fixed, because I just couldn't do anything with it and was starting to think I was going to have to cut off a good portion of my hair! I was reading a bunch of reviews on Amazon trying to find another conditioner or detangler to try when I came across the Cowboy Magic line and saw that some reviews had been using these products on themselves or their children. I decided to give it a go-- and wow, this stuff is nothing short of AMAZING! The whole line is really great--although I notice the biggest difference with the conditioner and the detangler. When I put the conditioner in my hair, I can feel the knots loosing up immediately. I leave it in for about 3 minutes and wash it out. I apply the detangler before I comb my hair, and I'm really impressed with this stuff! My experience has been that I can't put too much of the detangler in my hair--the stuff goes in feeling really oily, but then my hair absorbs it and there is no heavy slick or feeling greasy--even by the next day! My hair stays tangle free and looking amazing. The first day of using the detangler, I applied about 4 times more than the directions recommended, and just couldn't believe how soft and managable my hair was. I was afraid to get too excited about it, as I kept thinking that maybe my hair was just having a positive reaction to a new product and would go back to being dry and fried in a few days. After three days of using these products, my hair is about 95% to 98% improved. It has been about 2 weeks now, and I honestly can't believe the results. I am a customer for life.

This stuff is no joke. I have extremely fine, straight, and thick hair. Immediately after brushing it begins it's mystical process of tangling and knotting itself up into impossible little rats nests that push me to the edge of my sanity. When I tell you I've tried it ALL, I mean it. Literally everything from Orbie, to olaplex, to pureology, to the drugstore stuff like sauve, even, because who knows. If you can buy it in a salon for too much money, it's in my bathroom. Some products work better than others and some don't work at all, some perform small miracles that fall short the next day, some just make my ultra-fine hair look greasy and dull. Most products don't get repurchased. BUT THIS STUFF.... This stuff is like slippery liquid magic sauce. It GLIDES through my hair like Tonya Harding on freshly sharpened skates and magically untangles with it's slick little fingers even the gnarliest of dreadlocks in my spiderwebby hair. It makes it unbelievably shiny and sexy and I feel like one of those purebred horses that costs hundreds of thousands of dollars. But the REAL magic of this stuff is in the all day NO-TANGLE-not-even-one-little-snarl effect it somehow achieves ON IT'S OWN! I can actually run my fingers through my hair hours after brushing it out and they don't get stuck! It's easier to brush when it's DRY it's easier to brush fresh out of the shower when it's usually EXTRA sticky, it's just an absolute miracle in a bottle! If this product is ever 'currently unavailable', it's because I bought it all. A hot tip is to use just a little because the more you use the less it works. It's concentrated, a little goes a LONG way, especially in wet hair. I'm going to experiment with adding this to other hair lotions and treatments I have to see if it's slippery effects can boost other less desirable products I wish I loved. I will say one tiny little complaint is the container though. It's not filled up all the way and I think it's because of the nature of the bottle. I'd prefer it to be in a pump bottle I think because the outside of the bottle gets really slippery too when you're double dipping in the middle of a brush sesh. I was super hesitant about buying this due to past reviews talking about how the product spilt during delivery. Plus I was ordering from Singapore. Turns out, my worries were unfounded. There is a seal preventing the product from spilling even if the cap comes loose or opens. Amazon packed it securely too. Thank you! Anyway, this product is AMAZING for my Havanese's long fur and my Spaniel's leg featherings. I barely write reviews but this product is out of this world! My havi's fur matts just by standing/ not doing anything. With this, brushing/ combing/ dematting her has become so enjoyable for her and me. She's fine with the smell too. Combing out my spaniel's long leg featherings has never been easier. Cowboy magic, you're truly magical. Thank you thank you!!

Das Produkt habe ich von meiner Hundefrisörin empfohlen bekommen. Es löst Haarfilze gut auf. Jedoch nachdem Aufbringen muss man ca. 10 Min. warten, bis man die oberflächlichen Filze gut ausfrisieren kann. Produkt kam sehr schnell. Das Produkt ist zwar hochpreisig, aber den Preis wert. Sehr empfehlenswert.
