Can filters be washed and reused?

I wouldn't try to reuse them but they are inexpensive if you buy in bulk. I purchased 12 for only $7.99. (Today they are $9.99 for a dozen but the price changes.) When replacing the filter, does the black or the white side face out?

The white side faces you when you are looking at the filter container. The black side goes to the back.

How often do you replace the filters?

We recommend changing the filters every 1 to 3 months.

How does this thing work? It doesn't suck up the air into the filter, all it does is blow out air from the bottom. smoke goes where it wants

Do you have the filter in? That may be the reason why smoke is going everywhere
