Yes they do cross over if you are using too much pressure, but once you get used to being light handed with it, it’s super easy to use. You still have to practice your grip/ finger placement, keeping each stick parallel with one another, and being aware of weight distribution whenever you do pick up food with it. I’ve not tried with many other foods yet but I assume practicing what I shared still applies. The silicone stays in place which I love! Great to train and practice with :3
