Incredibly versatile and crisp lens
Seriously, I didn’t expect it to be this good. I thought this was an entry lens for aspc cameras but man was I wrong. This thing outperforms nearly all the lenses I currently have that cost an arm and a leg compared to this. The value for money is insane. Through the roof. I could not ask for anything more. Fits perfectly on my Sony a6700 ASPC camera and is as sharp as ever. It is not heavy either making my everyday camera set up very ergonomic and convenient to carry. It functions amazingly. Aperture is incredible, zoom is amazing and sharpness is very consistent even in 50mm. Incredible I would recommend this to anyone looking for a good versatile aspc lens.

Better than Sigma 17-40mm f/1.8
f/2.8 is Enough: Pretty awesome lens, I know there's the new Sigma 17-40mm f/1.8 but in my honest opinion this lens still stands the test of time. The portability is just much better and doesn't weigh much. You really get a whole host of benefits and zoom ranges which at an aperture of F2.8 is still more than enough in my opinion. Sharpness & OSS: Sigma is known for making sharp lenses in the centre and the edges which still excels in. Image stabilisation is of course not ideal with no OSS, but if that's a feature you want then buy the Tamron 17-70mm f/2.8 which uses VC (Vibration Compensation), not the best OSS but is much better than nothing at all and you get more zoom. Overall: The best lens is the one you actually use, and this lens definitely makes a great frequent companion for a whole host of scenarios, arguably and still is the best APSC lens you can buy. Worth every penny

Outstanding image and build quality
I absolutely LOVE this lens, the quality of the photographs it takes and the build quality are excellent. Autofocus is fast, images are nice and sharp and the 18mm is wide enough for most situations This is my go to do it all lens. If you need one lens then this is it.

Does it all lens
I've been using the Sigma 18-50mm f/2.8 on my Sony A6700 and it's been an excellent lens. The image quality is incredibly sharp, autofocus is fast and reliable, and the constant f/2.8 aperture is great for both photography and video. Very lightweight, which makes it perfect for carrying around all day. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a versatile everyday lens.

Great everyday lens.
Searched online for the best everyday lens for the Sony a6700 and most recommendations were for this lens. I have found it to be a very small and lightweight lens ideally suited to carrying around and although it doesn’t have built in stabilisation it doesn’t really need it with this camera. It gives a good sharp image and I have been very happy with it.

One of the best
This lens is one of the best for APSC. It's compact, sharp, and cheap. Image stabilization is the only thing I miss but for such cheap price I was happy to compromise that.

Brilliant lens for Sony apsc cameras
I've had this lens for approximately 6 months and absolutely love it. I had a few reservations since it has a slightly more limited zoom range than its main rivals (Sony and Tamron) and doesn't have lens stabilisation. However, I have no regrets, the zoom range is just fine if you are prepared to move your position when composing and the image quality of the lens means I can work at slightly higher ISO values to avoid the risk of camera shake. The other great thing about this lens is the really short minimum focussing distance which allows you to get really close to your subject if needed, it almost feels like a macro lens. I have a Sony full frame camera but find myself using this camera/lens combination more and more due to it's smaller size and lighter weight.

Possibly, the only lens you will need.
This little lens is the most versatile and useful one in my collection. I had been using the Tameron 17-70 but this lens is so much nicer to use (I'm using it with my Sony ZVE-10). Nice and small (and light), it really punches above its weight, giving creamy bokeh that rivals my 30mm Sigma Prime. For most people, this could well be the only lens you'll ever need. The bayonet mount is weather sealed but you have to remember that the rest of the lens isn't. Having said that, I use this lens in my wood shop and even though there's a lot of dust around, this lens is fine. I honestly can't find anything about this lens I don't like

⸻ ✅ Vorteile • Exzellente Bildqualität • Konstante Blende f/2.8 • Ultrakompakt & leicht • Schneller, leiser Autofokus • Für Foto & Video super geeignet • Ideal für Einsteiger & ambitionierte Hobbyfotografen ❌ Nachteile (wirklich klein!) Such nicht weiter.

Sigma 18-50mm f2.8 DC DN for crop sensor lens
Sigma 18-50 f2.8 is an awesome lens. Thanks to Clicktech retail pvt. Ltd. who delivered a new untouched lens that was imported in July 26. The lens is very sharp throughout its focal length and it is due to 2.8 all the way from 18-50mm. Low light performance and sharpness is better than Sony kit lens. Although there’s not any IBIS in a6400 and steady shot option may freeze with third party lens yet the tracking and autofocus is superb and smooth. No issues with photographs, yet there could be jitters with the videos. Sometime videos with manageable shake gives better feel and does not make a huge difference if not a vlogger. A gimble might solve the problem. Good bokeh with portraits and awesomely light weight. The lens feels exceptionally good and my new companion for travel photography.
